How big does a 'tablet' have to be before it becomes a 'table'?

To make a tablet this size without a 4k screen or the flagship hardware is a wasted opportunity.

By the standards they go by (rounding up) they'd call 1080p "2K". By 2K I'll assume you mean 1440p. If it's their usual garbo Pentil AMOLED then even at 2560x1440 the subpixels would be visible at 18" on flat colours, especially the red subpixels.
For a short time (a few devices) they stopped that cheapassery and used standard RGB layouts on some AMOLED displays, they immediately stopped soon after. IIRC one of their excuses was the lifetime of blue subpixels. Considering that can be easily compensated for through settings, and is overcompensated for to begin with, it was nothing more than an excuse instead of them just straight up saying they want to use less subpixels and save money.
Have you seen several year old AMOLED displays? The blues are barely faded at all. It probably takes well over 5 years for it to matter. If that lifespan was slightly reduced I doubt anyone would care considering a superior replacement would be relatively cheap by the time it's necessary.

a 18" AMOLED panel would cost a leg, so no pentile thing here, I think if it lasts at least 5 hours and is thin and light it could be handy for "socializing" imagine board games and such things on this + much more
in the near future I hope wireless tech improves greatly so we can have "dumb" screens in varying sizes and qualities laying around the house all powered by a main cpu room or something, otherwise, I find it too cumbersome and inefficient to have a dozen "screens" all with its own cpu and crap and independent sessions and environments

blue "life" is still a big issue. one reason sony hasnt done anything with oled much (tv).
and from a consumer standpoint: (example sony 65" UHD)
the only "real" difference in hardware is the "light source".
price difference is at least 3000$ to go from the 65X850C to a 55 (now maybe 60-65) LG oled (to "stay" with panel maker).
when you have people shelling out +5K for a 65" tv that lasts only 5y, before the already reduced brightness (vs led) goes down so much that its "unusable",
dont expect more from a (tablet) screen in a device that goes for multiple times less than oled tvs.
@EspHack
sony started something like it.
the Z3 tablet acts as a (wireless) screen, but the games run on the ps4..

I don't know why you're being a wise-ass, the quotes were proper use there to convey meaning, you're just being a dick.
I removed my reply because yours is such a mess it's hard to be sure what you're trying to say. Either way it seems like a logical fallacy with your "don't expect more".

For a tablet, it's just too big. Even 11" is too much for me. But i still use 11" tablet.

@Neo Cyrus
right, and thats why you started to get personal (by using wise ass and dick), instead of asking for clarification (at least thats what i do).
Neo Cyrus
Why would I bother asking for clarification for a troll post? Your purpose with that was to "get personal", and now you think you're being real clever trying to bait another response.
