Thought that the timing would at least gave us snap dragon 821.
Love the s7 camera and was hoping for more dual lens progress. And more modes that could handle 4k.
By looking at the front pic there seems to be more going on with the selfish cam compared to the s7?
But care less for front cams.
I am digging my GearVR but would have to buy a usb-c version because the adapter mentioned would still not fit into the GearVR.
Was also hoping for uhd amoled to advance the VR landscape.

Wow has it really taken them this long to put USB 3 back onto their phones? Another reason to keep the note 3

Unexciting device, in my eyes this Note is very disappointing, the S7 and S7E are so good in fact, unless you need S Pen, i would take S7E over the Note 7 anyday, it's overpriced.

So its bigger than S7 edge but a smaller battery that is a bit dissapointing. But I would have loved a stilus in my edge.

The best thing about the Note, is the design and the updated Grace UX.
In time, by root or official channel, the S7 will receive it, probably next year with Android 7.
As i have the awesome S7E, i had no need for other phone, but i do wanna see what LG V20 can offer.

MASSIVE disappointment.
It's just a slightly larger S7 Edge. Same specs! Why release a phone with the same hardware as a six month old device?

I'm a long term Note fan too (currently still rocking a Note 3, and see nothing here to make me want to drop £700!)
Zenphone 3 is rumoured to have the Snapdragon 821 and 6GB RAM. Yes please.

I was considering ordering one because there are no phablets available in this country apparently leaving me with literally no other option. I WAS, until they announced it was $850 USD which is $1100 CAD + tax = $1243 CAD. We make no more money than when our dollar was worth more than the USD. Everyone just gets way less for their money, and somehow 70% of the population still seems to be fat.
Oh well, AMOLED screens are a lie, the stupid curve effectively reduces the viewable surface area, the battery is garbage, and it's fragile like every Galaxy phone since the S6.
I'd like something like the Huawei Honor Note 8, but again, no viable way to get it here.

For only $100 more you can get the ZF3 Ultra... which comes with a mid range chipset instead of high end... and is not available in Canada. I'm pretty butthurt about the phone market here.

Same resolution screen ( 551 PPI, who is just still excellent ).
As every phone and tablet today, this one is mostly an upgrade over previous generation. We have surey attain the limit where, if no new use are invented for this form factor ( smartphone and tablet ) the "new" super thing will not much appear anymore.
( Looking at how the tablet market have completely stall and start to decrease now ( -12% this quarter, who maintain is decrease from previous quarter ). ( Just for remember that, "specialist was predict a full increase on market with 3 digit numbers till over 2018 )
This is why the note exist, because the stylus, in fact it will not be much different than Edge or even standard S7 otherwise.
Basically it upgrade some of his functions, but it is completely part of the S7 series. ( willl need wait complete reviews anyway )

Axon 7 and Zenphone 3 caught my eyes really, Axon 7 lowest point was the camera and screen is not bright enough, it kinda deal breaker for me, but report said they improved camera software since pre launch, so it should be better, for 400$ it's unbeatable.
Zenphone 3 ultra is wierd, it has huge batt huge screen but poor specs, Deluxe has poor battery although it's FHD, and superB specs, i wonder how camera is.
