My replacement of the original one I got died now. lol And yeah, got the Titan X from a friend for $300. Sad story since it was his dad's, and he passed so they were selling off some of his stuff.... RMA'd the replacement one so waiting to hear back on Powercolor for that, but that's going to my brother. His 770 died awhile back, so this will be a nice surprise for him. :x I loved the card though, but I'm not keeping a Powercolor built card if it's gonna keep dying on me.

Lucky bastard, even if the Titan X was $500 I'd still buy it without a second thought. Enjoy the card vbetts! Ps. Should this special EXOC GTX 970 Sniper Edition be released here in the UK I'll probably go for one, otherwise MSI or similar...

Right so another crippled 970 for full price. Last week I built a budget PC for my friend with R 380 and Athlon 860k, overclocked both components as much as allowed. Right after running benchmarks we started testing games like Witcher 3, Fallout 4, Shadow of mordor and few older titles. And guess what, yes benchmark scores were much much higher for my PC in 3dmark, valley but in games there was no noticable difference. I was absolutely ashamed by my at least twice more expensive PC, but OMG CPU even now is 3x the price and the 380 I bought for £135, while cheapest 970 are around £240  So, if someone is looking for 970 to play on 1080p DO NOT BUY IT. And for 1440p 970 is definitely not the perfect choice either. P.s. 380 at least has as advertised 4GB or VRAM . Yes, it still bothers me and will never stop. This pointed out quite a few issues in game development and hardware industry. I am not a fanboy of anything but I am growing to be an antifan of something....

What the hell are you talking about. http://www.techspot.com/review/1089-fallout-4-benchmarks/page2.html http://www.techspot.com/review/1006-the-witcher-3-benchmarks/page4.html http://www.hardwarepal.com/shadow-mordor-benchmark/ Also no **** you didn't notice any difference on 1080p in shadow of mordor, its capped at 100fps and the 970/380 both hit close to 100 all the time. Also where the hell did you buy a 135 pound 380, used? Even used its not below 180 pounds. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sapphire-Nitro-Graphics-PCI-E-GDDR5/dp/B00YXSL3YW The cheapest I could find was for 160 pounds and thats because its on sale right now. http://www.amazon.co.uk/MSI-R9-380-Gaming-Graphics/dp/B00ZPOBI0M

You seriously think that a 970 and 380 are equal?

My apologies I got it for 139.98 from DABS almost a month ago. No I don't think they are equal although considering price difference they are closer than I could have imagined, maybe its just me -a noobs impression. And at the end of the day my conclusions are based on real life experience and comparison between two PCs. http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/sapphire-amd-radeon-r9-380-nitro-4gb-gddr5-graphics-card-139-98-dabs-2374196
