Hmm, I'm currently using 32 GB (4 x 8 GB) of G.SKILL TridentZ RGB memory in my Ryzen Threadripper system (3200 MHz, 14-14-14-34), and I have no problems whatsoever. Didn't need to tinker with it either - I just set it to 3200 and it worked right off the bat. Frankly, if there is an issue with the TridentZ RGB series for Ryzen, I'm not seeing it (at least with my board and setup). On the other hand, my Ryzen 7 1800X system had numerous and consistent memory stability problems. I had to constantly shift the sticks around and/or lower the timings to have some modicum of stability (and even then, it was only stable for so long). I don't think it was the RAM that was the problem though, since the problem persisted even when I switched to a different brand and speed (I strongly suspect it was the motherboard - I recently replaced it and it's been stable so far). I guess that comes from being an early adopter though - we are the guinea pigs and have to suffer through the teething issues 😛.

Well I know what I need for christmass now. Still can't push my 3ghz Corsair memory past 2066hz reliably.. :'(
I somehow have my Corsair 3000 @ 2666 Sadly there really are not many white ram kits above 2400 and were way to price for HyperX 2666. Cost the same as my 3000 Corsair.

The only reason I ended up with the C6H board was because I got board running 3200 on the Prime X370-Pro. The GSkill 3200C14 kit ran that rated speed since day one. 3600 has been an elusive target. Not able to even get 3500 stable on my cpu but will run 3466 at insanely tight timings. The imc is the key. Nothing above 3200 is a given currently. That is why they are releasing the kits with a top rated speed of 3200. Now one has to get used to that not only will not every Ryzen or Threadripper cpu oc the same but they will not be able to run any ram speed above 2933 with any degree of certainty.
