Will there be a review up soon for these kits? I have two of the 2x8 4000 silver coming on Friday. I almost went 2x16 but seems the 5000 series likes 4 sticks compared to 2 and you would think it would be right the opposite. I'm not sure they are any better than the silver I have now since I'm running my 4000 silver set at the same timings as there 3600 kit is advertised on my AMD 5950 build 14, 15 , 15 1T @ 1.45v. I just wanted to replace my son 3200 kit with what I have now in his 10900k build since his Gigabyte Extreme did care much for my Dominator 3600 kit and he went down to the oldest 3200 kit I had from his z390 build.

this is partially true, 2x16 is mostly dual rank stick, so you still get 4 ranks even tho you re running two sticks or ram, while 8gb ram are most of the time single rank, so by running 4 sticks single rank, you re running 4 ranks as well, so 2x16 dual rank stick vs 4x8 single rank stick will get similar performance or near identical, i would say its easier to tweak two sticks of dual rank than 4 stick of single ram on ryzen platform, im just talking about my personnal experience, but ive had a ryzen cpu of each generation so far
