Well, I'm not sure you're going to see cl 10 at 3800 ever but I've got my G Skill Trident set running at cl 12 at 3600... It needs 1.8v for that but this DDR4 memory loves volts there is no doubt about that. The memory listed in the original post is pretty stunning when you think that they are using only 4 DIMMs to give you 64GB. 14-14-14 is phenomenal.

First, please don't just repeat stuff that you heard someone else say and in your head you think it must be correct.
DDR4 is not like DDR3 and below. It's had some pretty major architectural changes. If you really think that 1.35v is the maximum then why are there so many kits that have recently come out that require 1.4v? You can expect to see 1.5v and 1.6v next year. Many in the OC community are pushing 2.0v+ to get some pretty outrageous numbers and simple air cooling is sufficient (a good memory fan).
As for buying anything above 2133 - sure - the gains are minimal but they are measurable with Skylake and the argument that because they are minimal then people must be idiots to not make the choice you've made is like telling athletes, "hey, why bother putting in all that work to get 1 extra second off your time?"
The fact that you even posted what you did tells me you haven't had a lot of success and I love it that it bugs you enough to actually share your opinion on a topic you aren't interested in.

Finally some 16 GB DIMMs!
This is a good reason to upgrade from DDR3 to DDR4.

Do want.
Absolutely never going to happen. Or even close to it. Hynix MFR IC's are the best out there right now for DDR4 (Samsung IC's are hot on their heels) and they can "only" do 2400mhz @ C12. 3800mhz at anything less than C16-17 will never happen.
Says the only person I've ever seen with X99 and 2133mhz RAM....
I completely disagree. BF4 is just one of many games that benefit from higher RAM MHz. Saying things like "RAM over 2133mhz is only useful for synthetics" is not true. However most games do not benefit from the fastest RAM you can get but there are many that do.
Sorry. This is why blanket statements don't work.
Well said sans the last part. Even though it's funny. Hehe.

DDR4 2133 vs 3200 benches.

However not to say there arent games or scenarios where the differences may be more dramatic, there could very well be.
