Quite possible - just something to look forward to, not that long luckily. In that sense it's like "Wait, don't buy, the next generation GFX gards are around the corner" when you're in need of a solution 🙂. They're starting to ship this summer (might get a used one earlier, who knows). But the main focus is to get the/a Gigafactory ready, which would ramp up the production and hopefully brings with it the age of cheaper batteries - probably at least a big step towards it.
