The first Watch Dogs was a really good game, can only recommend. Its unfortunate they ruined the second one by turning it into some hipster/gen z nonsense, the moment I had to take a selfie as a task, I quit and deleted it.

Never played either, but I'd say you did the right thing.

I never played either because I can't stand people in real life who are always looking down at their phone. Didn't seem to make for a great main character.

I played both. Watchdogs was good. Not great, but worth playing. Stanley Parable was stupid. It's fine as something that's free but definitely not worth paying for. I really don't understand all the positive reviews for it. "wow it breaks the 4th wall!" oh who the hell cares? That's what makes it appealing to you? The narrator was the only thing good about the "game" but he gets stale real fast when trying to find the different endings. Keep in mind, the vast majority of what I play are indie games. I didn't have high expectations for Stanley Parable but I didn't think it was going to be so boring.

The Stanley Parable isn't for everyone I suppose, I loved it when I played it the better part of a decade ago. As I remember it, the writing and voice acting were excellent but the gameplay itself is very basic / just walking around.

Stanley Parable is wonderful, best game narrative in history! I laughed so hard that I felt pain behind my ears.. 😀
