do yourself a favor and push through the annoying influencer thing that is mostly present at the beginning, and go sell guns or whatever after starting a dialogue scene on the ship bridge no borderlands 2 is not better..it's inferior in every possible way the story once you've seen and read all of it, most of the lore requires you to complete the game and go read panels, is better and smarter than most if not all solo action games including tomb raider and the likes some of the side quests have really fun or even emotional stories, people who say the game is only stupid...have not played it or only went A to B also the gameplay with a fun build is superior to most solo fps too last tip...only play amara she's completely attuned with the game meta which is shock vs shields acid vs armor and fire vs meat, all her trees are great, all the other characters are frankly trash, more so than previous games as they stripped them of their bias toward one type of weapon making again Amara the best character as she buffs everything and is built around the game mechanics while others have random weak bonuses..to be clear she does double the damage for the entire game until endgame...it's that bad and I'm pretty sure the reason why many dropped the game I sure wouldn't have finished it playing the other heroes in fact I tried many times, always dropped them and instead am now in my 3rd playthrough with amara again she is fun they are not

I played the game to death (DLCs included) with the hunter robot, haven't bothered playing any of the other characters as I did and saw everything lol. I'll start a new character the next time I pick it up but, to be honest, I doubt I will.

It tanked FPS sadly, like all other Unreal Engine 3 games with PhysX.

Have to agree. The sense of humour really makes it for 1 and 2; 3 was really lacking it. Either than that it's still a decent game.

I never played the 3rd. I've been itching to re-play 2 for literally years but haven't had the time to dedicate toward it.

Story was forgettable, the main boss was annoying for all the wrong reasons but the gameplay is a step up from previous games. Overall still worth a play through.

I'll be honest I enjoyed 1 a lot but 2 and 3 were a slag for me. Second game felt like Reddit: the shooter and the third was just forgettable in its entirety.

Not that i want a remedy level storytelling in a borderlands game, its enough for me to have a good gunplay and its fun.

Whilst the protagonist was the best in part 2, I also thought the original was a better game overall. Haven't played 3 yet, so happy with the heads up.

It has basic cartooney graphics like fortnite, but runs about 4 times worse

Lower Material Quality to High or medium. There is almost no difference in quality, but there is a good jump in performance. Also, lower volumetric fog quality. Once again, good jump in performance and almost no difference.

It's not that i need the performance - the performance just doesn't match the visuals at all, which are fortnite ish.

Indeed, and the social media crap was really annoying plus the antagonists were quite boring.

(as I install Borderlands 3, it is apparent that....) Epic should spend a few dollars improving the client interface. It is incredibly barebones. I don't mean adding steam-like forums and achievements or any of that (though no one would complain), but how about some basic UI improvements? It's also (for me, anyways) consistently slow in loading the content within the app. If Epic is going to spend all this money bribing us with free games, why not spend a few bottlecaps on making a client that people might actually want to use... or, at the very least, make a client that gamers don't actively hate? Nonetheless, this is a nice freebie.
