hmm might be a nice replacement for my HAF-X 😯 loved the HAF-X when it came out but... i'm getting older and now value a sleek appearance and silence over lights and looking kick ass 🙁 wonder how easy it is to order another right side panel, never quite understand why fractal design makes cases with a ton of sound dampening materials, and then puts a fan mount on the left side panel. makes it look a bit uglier when sitting on top of a desk and creates a undampened hole for sound to escape from.

That is not true. There is not just a hole on the the side panel or any panel for that matter. On fractal's define cases there are no open fan mounts or holes where any sound can escape. All of the fan mounts are covered with a sound dampaned plate that screws on where the fan would go so no sound can escape through. Anyways I am super excited for the XL R2. It looks like fractals R4 on steroids.
