Would you gurus say Fractal Design is a good, reputable brand? Last year, my 4 year old Corsair PSU blew up. When visiting the shops, I didn't have many options to choose from. I ended up buying a 1000w Fractal Design modular PSU. Are they as good as or better than Corsair?

They make nice things. yes. Better than Corsair? In some ways.

Build looks solid, uses Alphacool pump too. "Alphacool DC-LT, creaming bearing bump with a speed of 2400 RPM pushing 72 L/H of water at just 25dB" Customizable loop and pricing is also competitive, better than some overpriced/limited Asetek based coolers from other brands.

Nothing exactly "unique" here. CoolerMaster Glacier 240L is an expandable AIO.... Fractal Design did better with the tubes going into the pump/CPU block... The pump/CPU block on the Glacier 240L is a PITA to install because the tubes go in from opposing sides. Makes motherboard selection quite important because it needs a lot of clearance on 2 sides and not just one.

I would say that Fractal is not as know(yet) as Corsair, but i wouldn't say its a bad brand, at least the products offer very good quality for less money then Corsair, i would say quality is about the same, consumer service i don't know do. I love Fractal cases, as i own one myself, Fractal Arc Midi R2 and i love it. Besides, The price range compared to any other expandable AIO as: Swiftech H220 full cooper :banana: Cooler Master Eisberg 240 full cooper :banana: Both offer about the same quality/performance and both are more expensive then the Fractal one so..seems a good deal to me, lets wait for benchmarks and reviews to decide, but so far..so good .

Glacier 240L is expandable and cheaper than the Eisberg 240 but the Glacier 240L is nothing but a "modified for US" version of the Swiftech H220.
