The "in-engine" video looked pretty cool i guess. Though, i get about as hyped from such vague trailers as i would from them just releasing a list of features. If aerial combat is going to be anything like what was shown in that video, then i could be onboard. It really depends on how liberal they are with the DLC. If its over top, which im going to assume it will be, then ill pass. This maybe a Battlefront game, but after the treatment of the BF series, im not holding on to hope that it'll survive a come back.

Their trailers are always excellent. But always an unrealistic depiction of how people actually play. After viewing BF trailers with the non-stop mayhem running with explosions on both sides of you, helicopters flying in formation, the game is actually very tame. But a Star Wars BF game would be pretty cool. I would imagine the exact same DLC model with a "premium" component as well. 5-6 add-ons over the course of a year and a half.

I really hope they dont do anything they normally do with the battlefield titles they push out. This could be a redeeming game for EA if done right. But seeing as how they are going to do "seasons" I dont have much hope and Im sure that wont be the case.

OMFG ,ive just done a sex wee, I've got to have a load of this , looks amazing and released on my B/day ... But you know they are master Jedi's at making the trailers look amazing and then the game itself is a load of rubbish , i just hope this isn't the case (fingers crossed ). May The Force Be With You. £54.99 preorder , are these games just getting too expensive or what .

OMG thats amazing! Now if only the game will actually look like that on release. Something tells me no. I sure hope it has DX12 support. Supports 1st and 3rd person views so that's nice for flying. Anyways, this is awesome having a new Star wars game and movie coming out, I cant wait for either.

yer now DICE mix this battlefield 2142 style and its a winner vehicles with 6 pod ejectors for the pod kill tanks with more blast area kill then bf4 6v6 or more air vehicles per side with hover, so u can blast enemies on ground or air and hyper speeds bf2142 style, keyboard and mouse like config similar to bf2142 heh bf4 config suked, regen shields, power ups teleports for commanders to deploy squads to squad leader, to attack or guard spots a titan mode on a massive battlecruiser or death star to blow core win! we are only limited by our imaginations, which means there are no limits!

It looks cool and all, but I can almost guarantee the net code will be utter crap like all of the other battlefields because of greed and Consolitis. Dice can make a cool game but the decision makers in EA/Dice about servers and net code are idiots. If they make it with good netcode I'm willing to forgive their dlc plans but only if it's WORTHY! I'm going with LOW expectations until proven otherwise.
