why to use 4 slots? when you have 7! I feel my next computer will have 2 towers, 1 for the power supply and GPU and the other one for the rest of the PC.

never will i ever use four slots for a gpu. i don't even use three slots (water blocks ftw) i thought AMD was awesome with their reference 6900xt being a two slot solution, but the AIBs went on their quest for semi-passive cooling with monster heatsinks. and talk about overkill the heatsink on my 6900xt is the same as the 3090ti from the same brand... c'mon man.

Looks like the only reason it's 4-slot is because it's using the same fail stacked fan design as that Gigabyte card, which has worse thermals than a 3-slot.

Yeah, cause silent aircooled gpus is a super bad thing...

And it's from ZOTAC intended for Asia though. With a thickness of four PCIe slots, it is only equaled in girth by the RTX 3070 Noctua Edition.... First Quad-Slot RTX 3090 Ti Graphics Card Makes An Appearance
Now that multi gpu is thing of the past in the gaming sphere, they may aswell just go big with the coolers, as even small medi towers will usually have 7+ slots available... cooler and quieter ftw.

Taking up four slots doesnt seem very efficient in its design.

for some yes. but the biggest trend in pc's for the last 10 years is ITX & SFF i went with a wc solution because i'm running 3 pc's with only one ATX - which has add-in cards for RAID and Thunderbolt "big air" gpu's are only suited for gamers without other needs - a fraction of the market. only now are some case manufacturers making triple slot capable cases in the ITX size - cooler master (NR 200p) and lian li (forgot model but all aluminum and $$)

You seem to live in a different reality, dude. Just because YOU like to use ITX doesn't make it the biggest trend in pc's... at all. Neither in the gaming space or anywhere else. The geforce series are gaming gpu's, aimed at gamers, using gaming rigs - the vast majority of gaming rigs are running midi og big towers - both premades and self built ones. Your issue with itx case-space is a self inflicted one.

🙄 really? my opinion is based on and backed by sales data. and i've been buying GeForce cards for (most likely) your entire life. i would appreciate you stopping the characterization of those you don't agree with. this is not the first or worst time. get a life, read a book, and learn something.

If it's backed by sales data, then surely you wouldn't mind sharing this data... And how does however long you've used geforce cards for make your claim any more correct? That's right, it doesn't...

are you seriously doubling down? clearly you are no fan of logic as you rely on ad hominem attacks instead of reverse case scenarios to make your arguments. you are a *yawn* you don't have to ask me to supply jack - pick up ANY publication on or offline and read any review of ITX cases. you are not well read and my usage of GeForce cards was a response to you attempting to tell me who they design their product for and who a gamer is. you have been ridiculous and i've gone lightly.

So in other words you are blowing hot air out of your arse, and have nothing to backup your claims.

If you had any proof, you would have posted it already. You dont, so you didn't. Tough luck, pal.
