CPU and GPU Gaming segment low? Wonder why. Please AMD, don't do stupid things like before...

Quite impressive that AMD managed to increase revenue YoY, when Intel had a drop. But those results for the CPU and GPU consumer market should have been better, if AMD hadn't misread the situation and overpriced them so much.

These are decent financials in trying times, looks like the flexibility of their approach as well as their data centre push is paying off. Hopefully their increased stability will keep more strong players in the market to benefit us all.

Because the PC market bombed during the last half of 2022.

Intel also had a 36% drop in their client division, despite it's stranglehold on the per-built market.

No, nothing to do with it mostly. Their pricing is just greedy lately, thus people don't buy it...

Imagine the sales of ryzen 7000 if the prices are even comparable to previous generation. Pure greed by these companies are hurting everyone.

I recall when the x570 AM4 motherboards were released and the shock and horror caused by that price point. The AM5's definitely are on the insane side and one of the reasons my budget dictated the AM4 socket for a recent build. Would have been nice to go AM5........
