Must be why the price jumped $10.00 on Steam.

I am very interested how buggy it will be, because they had more than 3 months for fixing. But in this day and age, day 1 patch is like the new DRM.

Well, I'll break the mold and be excited! I suspect we may have the first real competition to The Witcher 3 for GOTY.

I'll just wait for the 'Fallout' from the launch day disaster that all too frequently occurs with AAA releases, except I won't be buying it due to the price! When FO4 hits a steam sale at £8.99 like FO3 GOTY/New Vegas Ultimate did with all DLC then I might be interested, but at £40 for 'base' game and £25 for the DLC you can get ****** Bethesda 🙂

That's how long from launch that it will take before the first nude mod is up on Nexus for this game.
Whenever the first clutch of DLC is out, is how long it will take Bethesda to officially drop bug fix support, because the game is great 😉
Never, how long it will take the community to fix the bugs... because the community is always finding and fixing issues with these games.

annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd no one should care.
Fallout 3 and NV were terrible games.
The controls were poor, aiming was shocking so they had to implement V.A.T.S which was made for dummies. The story was cliche, the setting dull, lifeless, uninspired. The quests were poor, the A.I was horrendous, the bugs and glitches were insane. The voice acting... well done Bethesda you hired 3 people to do over 100 voices.
Fallout 1 and 2 were in my book MUCH MUCH better games. They only went 1st/3rd person in Fallout because 1) it worked well in Elder Scrolls (again a much better game) 2) Everyone was doing 1st person on consoles, imagine if they actually used their brains and imagination and went old school isometric like 1 and 2 were they would of sold so badly on consoles.
At least mods on PC made it somewhat bearable.
Hopefully they prove me wrong with Fallout 4, but comes to something when the dev team has to ask another developer to write the code for their 1st person shooting mechanics because they have literally no idea.
600 people work at Bethesda. Sure not all on 1 game, less than 200 work at CD Project Red and The Witcher 3 has put all other open world RPG games to shame.

I don't get the complaining nor comparing these older games to stuff released a few months ago. That's hardly fair. Skyrim, Oblivion, Morrowind as well as Fallout 3, were pretty fantastic. (I thought New Vegas was kind of weak, storywise) They were very highly regarded by critics and gamers for good reason. They weren't broken by any sense of the word, and they set the standard for open world games. The easy modability was also fantastic, something which actually causes much of the whining about "features" that "should have been included" by people in the community who just like to complain. Bethesda doesn't have a bad track record that I can recall.
Anyone who wants to play Fallout in a top down, 90s style can just play Wasteland instead. The move to 1st person immersion is what makes Fallout 3 a step above. There may be less depth but the overall experience works.
Looking forward to 4.
