I'm looking forward to the release of this game, thinking back to Fallout 3 I remember it as one of my most favourite games, I liked the sense of exploration & adventure, hopefully this one will be just as good! I'll probably just end up buying it in the sales though, so they can iron out bugs, and I've got quite a few games left to finish. System Requirements? Minimum System requirements look low with 550ti, but looking at Recommended System Requirements a 780 is quite high - if I compare this to other games in my library most recent AAA games seem to recommend 760, so perhaps this game will be hard on hardware? Should run fine on my laptop though, especially with 550ti being minimum!

Weird requirements, I'm not very familiar with AMD's numbers but there seems to be a lot of disparity between the h/w of the 3 companies. The 8GB ram requirement also seems lazy as it is the total installed memory on both the consoles (usable is much less). Not sure how well ported it will be. It could probably be just what they had on hand. I won't be there day one on PC or even PS4.

it would be helpful if they included with the specs the details of the actual game (ie) which drm client is required orgin,steam.uplay...etc and is it digital only or is there a physical copy and the most important information needed about physical copys nowadays with publishers doing dirty tricks like just put a steam intaller on 6 discs, is to please inform people how much of the there game is on the retail discs so people know how many gigs of download will be required if they buy the retail copy

I hope the UI is PC.... Fallout 3/Skyrim/NV all had horrendous UI for a PC.

Yeah good point, I can't imagine playing skyrim without SkyUI.

Here's one hoping they provide the same amazing or even better experience like Fallout 3 had.

My PC with windows 8.1, some background apps and 2 torrents downloading slowly and 2 chrome tabs is using 6.6gb of my 16 at the desktop. Why wouldn't a PC require more resources when it is doing so much more in the background? The game itself might not use more than 4, but in order for it to do that it needs to have more than enough for system tasks.

That's just the cache using more RAM. I've more open right now and only 3.2GB is being used.

Im just trying to figure out how in the hell they say a gtx 550ti for nvidia and HD 7870 for amd. Thats utter garbage right there. 2x gtx 550ti are barely as fast as a HD 5850.......

Not much to comment on the specs, but price is 59,99€ at steam! 49,99€ is kinda ok, 40€ would be great, but not going to pay 60€, 50€ would be a buy. Will wait for some kind of sale.

I hope my R9 270 can run this. Fallout 4 is one of these few games i will most certainly play through.

im sure you will be fine, the recommended are for highest settings probably. i hope it is good port as the graphics dont justify the recommended specs.

My style is always play the first playthrough vanilla, then fatten out the game with mods! Think the recommended specs is a bit overkill just by judging how the game looks like right now visually. wouldn't it be nice if Fallout 4 had the graphics of Star Wars: Battlefront?
