The game looks amazing, as long as the game play is smooth i'll be very happy with it i feel even though the graphics do look a bit dull/old.

Yep it is all about the game play with the fallout games but these days graphics matter just has much.

Sorry, but the game looks awful. I really can't understand those who say Bethesda games looks good*. They simply do not - plastic faces (c'mon and try to prove me wrong. Just check 0:49-0:50 mark in video...), strange models, ****ty colors,.. the desing is as dissapointing as Fallout 3... just another Oblivion with guns clone. *I can agree that with heavy MODs their games can look good. But out of the box - they are just awful.

After staring at Witcher 3 for weeks I can see those graphics are definitely the games weak spot, here's hoping that's the only one! :rock:

Statements like this are very subjective. While they are not the best looking visuals(in my eyes), they are still pretty decent. Would not say the game looks awful at all.

Meh. When Fallout 3/Oblivion/Skyrim came out there were at least kind of on par with current gen games of their time. And most of the graphics criticism could be written off because it was a big huge open world and that was hard to do during those years. But now with games like Farcry, GTA, Just Cause, Witcher 3, etc - it's pretty apparent that you can build huge open world games and they can still look really good at the same time. I think Witcher 3 is the best comparison as the two games are similar in budget and yet Witcher 3 looks significantly better in terms of graphics and animations. Will the lackluser graphics make Fallout 4 bad? No. It's probably going to have a great story and fun gameplay elements. But I do think it's important that Bethesda know that the fans demand more for the next title. It's not like the company is broke, they can afford to write a new engine from scratch and make it work. And they are only going to do it if fans criticize it.

Can't wait for next week! Sure the vanilla graphics look dated, but on PC with mods and stuff it will get better, the world setting however looks very nice and immersive. I'm curious how much they improved the gunplay.

You havent even played the game. Also, the graphics arent at all bad. To note on top of graphics, the performance has been great so far. No stutter whatsoever. Game plays well.... lets hope the PC version performs well.
