Now somebody needs to one up them and do a 1980 to 2013 timeline. 🙂

Oh 3DMark 2001 was so cool with the Matrix Scene, i couldn't get enough of it. Catzilla must be the coolest one atm.

I actually watched the whole 2 hours of this video - really took me back. Would be nice to see something similar with the most popular scene releases from back in the day - especially 64k.

Sadly none of them actual games.

Worth the time to watch... in retrospect, it's pretty neat to have gotten to live through these improvements in graphics. Aquamark 3... that was made into a game called 'Aquanox', no? I still have that installed and play it from time to time. I also remember the scene in Luna with the heat effects was one of the first that really brought my system to a crawl. Also: Nalu has the face of a man, and Dawn has the face of a boy (despite the fact that she's apparently gone up a cup size). 3DMark 2011 looks slick. I'm glad Hard Reset made it in, Catzilla was hilarious (is that a game?), and no Borderlands 2 for the Physx demonstration? That game has the best (that I've seen) use of Physx in a game yet.

Pretty cool. Reminds me that we all used to drool over those slight improvements in the early days. So much has changed now.

Yeah - a little Mirror's Edge PhysX would've been nice too
