The board design looks great, but the built quality is another issue. all the EVGA that had were consing issues or were dead after 1 year. EVGA is only popular dude to their Marketing and board design.

not surprised of your comment about EVGA but it might surprise some well known influencers : EVGA is awesome ! owners all over the internet in forums and comment : sh.t quality lots of failures other than that it's an overclocking board and absolutely nothing else, it's one of the worst X570 aside from that considering memory overclocking on AMD is idiotic as it makes the computer unusable for anything else than fake benchmark scores, real life performance gets way worse once you go above 3600Mhz and that CPU overclocking except on LN2 is non-existant, you are now sold an "as best as it can go" cpu with zero slack either you have a lot of money to burn or you will regret buying this, it has no point, on an actually overclockable Intel CPU+memory sure..for AMD no if you don't know what to buy get an asus crosshair VIII dark hero or one of the newer ones not an Asus fan my last ones were MSI and Asrock but it's a very good X570 board with enough rear usbs, up to 8 sata drives, plenty of pcie bandwith (enough for a x16 4.0 gpu, x4 3.0 10gbe nic and a x1 pcie soundcard + 2 nvme M.2) 2.5Gbe nic etc..and it has an available vrm+cpu combo block from EK should you want one with it my VRM is sitting at 36°C here and worst case it's at 43°C for a 29451/1609 cinebench R23 score in combo with a 10gb intel nic it gave me this..when I say it has very good "bandwith" I mean it [youtube=FckhX2_6Mes]

What an ugly motherboard.

That's all you. Plenty of other sites, forums and users say otherwise. Im just happy to see another AMD Evga board. Last one I had was a AM2+ 590 SLI Was a solid board. Ran GTS 640mb SLI really Had a X2 5000+ BE in it @ 3.4, 4GB DDR2 800@ 1000

It took long enough for them to come up with an X570 board.

This is a very old board, since then many things have changed. How can you tell that EVGA is Excellent based on users comments... LOL From EVGA I had, - 680 SLI motherboard 3 of them, 2 remplacement ( I've called this board the "Cooking motherboard" due to it's overheating.) - Evga 7950GX2, it was an Excellent heater in winter and a nightmare in summer. - Evga geforce 8800 ultra , it was an Excellent heater in winter and a nightmare in summer. "RIP" in summer due to overheating - Evga X99 FTW K , it had stability issues, and BIOS issues were never fixed - EVGA X299 dark, it was dead after 1 year and 9 months, and it was a nightmare dude to noises of all the fan's - And again overheating issues, and BDOS once's a week, poor memory compatibility EVGA never again

real life performance gets way worse once you go above 3600Mhz and that CPU overclocking except on LN2 is non-existant
It depend from where you start, what you need, your knowledge on how it work with Ryzen... I started with 4000Mhz and it work fine (the 3600 Mhz is not a limit it is the point where your CPU and memory are in 1:1 out of the box). Also if most 3200Mhz can go 3600Mhz, starting from a 2400Mhz to get 3600Mhz is possible but can reach an issue or massive CL (both not good) Some tool can help people setting their memory to fit the best way your Ryzen (see the download section in here) But ok i am in +°C cooler (for cold fish aquarium) it help a lot. About the board: - 2 mem slot, so limited to 64G... - Heat dissipator under the GPU... Definitively not for everyday's use, and really OC type I have a BIG passive with EVGA and i won't buy it (anyway no more EVGA distributor or import in here) but some like it

I'm just excited to see this board make it to production, here's hoping for me EVGA AMD options in the future. Given the current supply chain issues, I'm surprised they were able to get it to market at all TBH.

Firsthand experience with EVGA parts for a long time - EVGA have been generally as good as, or tied with, the best in terms of build quality and reliability for any given generation of parts. The only blatant screw up (with GPUs) I can recall was the back plates on overheating early pascal parts and, in their defense, they quickly corrected that reaching out and sending thermal pads and detailed instructions to any early adopters who bought the cards at risk. I can't say enough about their support. They have gone above and beyond to resolve the few issues I ever did contact them with over the years. I haven't used any of their recent motherboards (since X99), but they were always quality, overbuilt things but also bespoke and quirky (perhaps not the best for a "daily driver") If EVGA has one problem it is their popularity and the perception for performance parts. Kids and the less tech-savvy go buy a reference-equivalent base card from EVGA and attempt a massive OC because they watched some youtuber do a video with a hydrocopper or LN2 on a Kingpin. The kids procced to get cranky when that doesn't work or they cook their card, then they head over to the forum and you get: "EVGA sucks 111!1!! they are such sh!t quality and have lots of failures!!"

I would love to play with one of these, but I can only justify it if it can come off of the bench and go into a tower when I'm done. That 2 slot memory setup might be deal breaker for me. I know 2 DIMM is best for overclocking but having the option for 4 slots and leaving two blank for bench time is preferable. I'd add to that, at this price point, competitors like the Aorus Xtreme include 10Gb LAN as well.

I haven't owned an EVGA board since the X58 Classified (bought it purely based on Hilbert's review all those years ago) and it turned out to be one of the best motherboards I had ever owned. Even though I don't do much overclocking anymore and I'm not in the market for a new mobo, I'll be watching this one with great interest. Who knows, maybe I'll pick one up at some point.

Sounds like you truly have no effin clue. Your like the morons who bought multiple xbox 360 due red rings.

wow man, that's bad luck! where do you live? i meant... you talked about 5 of your previous EVGA devices and 3 of them were dead because of overheating? do you check on your temps? for me overheating has never been an issue and i use to live in Venezuela in a very very hot city.. maybe you should invest on an air conditioner.

Honestly, where is this EVGA hate coming from? I had some of their GPUs die on me over the years, but other than the inconvenience of having to RMA them, the process itself was swift and as painless as possible. They were courteous, prompt, polite and sent out replacements as soon as I sent them the tracking numbers. Granted, I haven't owned an EVGA product in half a decade now, as their presence this side of Europe has diminished quite a bit. Is there any credence to these claims?

Evga is not even a thing in Europe. Their boards and gpus are very rare here.
