just why would they couple "the worlds most powerful tablet graphics" with a non fullHD display? other than this I can't see a flaw about this hardware

Because 1080p is overkill even for 10" tablet. It has more advantages as in lower required GPU power to reach same fps, therefore longer battery life. And lastly, as new more intense games comes, this chip will be usable on this resolution while same chip would give only 1/2 fps on 1080p.

Why would they? It has a higher PPI than any 4k monitor offers right now.

:wanker: LOL, not by much! 720p at 7" is 209 ppi 4k at 7" is 629 ppi and on a 22" monitor it's 200ppi

"4k at 7" is 629 ppi and on a 22" monitor it's 200pp" Wut? Curently the smallest 4k monitor is 28"

Actually, the lowest 4K monitor is the hybrid 13" tablet//laptop from Samsung and their 12" tablet Note Pro who use 4K resolution display. Along their 13" laptops 2014 series ofc ... this said, most 5" smartphone use a 1920x1080 display, with tablet as the 10" Samsung and other who use display of 2560x1600 .. This incredible tegra 4 tablet use a resolution lower of other 7" tablet, and with only 1Gb of RAM... The communicate done by Nvidia and Evga is really nice, but seriously there's many things in this tablet who is well under the specification of actual tablet... maybe they can beat anything in OpenGL benchmark ( even if im not sure this will be really translated in real increase in quality of games, most benchmark provided by Nvidia is against an Qualcomm 600 and older PowerVX gpu's ).. on the end, this article is just a copy paste of the publicity of Nvidia / EVGA.. nothing more..

because it's overkill. come on I've been using a galaxy s1 (gt-i9000) for the past 3 years, it has a resolution of 480x800 on a 4 inch screen. I think it looks pretty good. I WOULD opt for a 720p screen but that's it. when I see 4 inch phones with 1080p resolution with people actually praising the screen because 1080p is so much better than 720p, I just want to shoot myself in the ear. there's no significant improvement. my 24" pc display is 1080p and it's fine, get real..

Well I think it was in Germany that Samsung just released a 22" 4k monitor for about $500-$600 USD. In America in about two or three months? Not everything gets released in America you know....

I had a S2 before, and now an S4... at this time i was think the S2 screen SuperAmoled was good, this was before buy an S4 with his 1080p 5" screen. its not because it is 1080p.. its just the resolution, you try to make it between fulll HD and HD.. we are not speaking about movies, its just the number of pixel by inch....

still 1GB RAM? Thought we'd have 2GB by now.
