The only right question to ask is: will it play New World?

Lets dare Hilbert to try it. 😀

Create a dummy build and then risk it all. 😱

This. Please, new benchmark: GPU vs new world.

Seems like a rushed review with some weirdness in the game performance charts. They seem all over the gaff. Usually we see 1080p then 1440p then 4k but in this review it's a bit of a mess. Also, reviewing a FTW3 card a day after FTW3 cards have been exposed to be simply badly designed is a bit wonky.

There seems to be a whole lot more to this than just FTW3 card designs. Apparently other GPU's are misbehaving as well.

With precisely one chart plot (Valhalla) the 1080 chart was positioned behind the UHD chart, that was all. Fixed.

Compare this GPU with last posted KFA2. KFA2 was a joke build with wires hanging out.

I don't know why we are still seeing and being bludgeond with GPU reviews of the RTX 3000 series, (and lesser models) while the man on the street simply cannot buy them. There must be now over 30 or more GPU sellers under their own branding and each promising better performance. The names of the many are now blurring within me. Why would anyone push, review or even trying to promote a product that virtually does not exist (discounting the scalpers) and with absolutely no shelf availability in real sight? And this has been so for almost over a years time. Perhaps we should again just blame "Covid" which has routinely always been an easy way out for everybody. But many here know well that this kind of excuse or airplane will not fly! On my simple behalf, I am still waiting for the man from NVIDIA to be real, coming alive and stepping up to the bar in his black leather jacket and giving us the good news and what we have hungered for much too long. If anyone can do it...Jensen Huang is that man!

covid has some but little to do with the situation, it just happened at the worst time when cars started abusing with electronic components, especially for the "sad joke" that electric cars are, not only is the idea that they will replace petrol cars idiotic but they drain a ton of rare ressources and so do all those connected things that we never needed which is now a problem for everything everywhere, even in construction they can't do anything because metal-steel alliages or whatever (not my area I was told so) require nickel and other ressources that now all go toward electronic stuff (other than enthusiast pc hardware) and mining happened at the same time too..just great more on topic : omg those powers 382 for a 3080ti (a ref design 3090 is 350w) 466 for an evga 😱 when I had my 390w bios even +40w a small increase obviously raised temps, I wouldn't want 466w not to gain a few fps, I've got an over the top pc but there are limits EDIT : wait am I seeing right a typical power around 410w a max of 466 for +1fps...1fps in a few games and everything worse than a 3090 are we supposed to find that good that it's close to a 3090 at the price of +110watts ? I know many people who could have paid scalpers price for a gpu none did, because what they are not ok at all with is the insane watts and heat coming, this 3080ti is a big no for them

Just got mine in the mail last week. Had no trouble signing up and waiting for an email from EVGA for both my 3090 and my 3080 ti.

I've got a 2080 TI hydro copper for ya to buy that doesn't pull as much power. I mean performance does come at some sort of trade off...

I've gotten 3 cards thru the EVGA que, 2 of which I passed on to friends. Why people act like its a scam or a myth is beyond me. While its a was a slow wait I paid MSRP and had to do absolutely nothing beyond checking my email once a day.

I'm waiting for mine since sept 17th if a thousand people tell you they can't get any,you and your friends might wanna realize that your sample group of four people and a dog constitutes a minority.

I was 9/16 on my 3080 Black, yeah it took 9 some months. All the other SKU's dropped way faster, A 3090 FTW3 Hybrid dropped within 2 days of signup for me. You realize people are getting drops just about every day right?

Think i'm gonna go for new 20 series evga next, then try step up to 30 series (no stress if it's not possible), seems very stress-less way to go about getting nice gpu, saves from having to shell out massive amount up-front too.
