From this video game looks very much like stalker which to me is a let down, i hate stalker series because of too much pointless and fruitless walking around and overall stalker games always been to me boring as hell. About escape from Tarkov for the first time i've read in October 2015, from videos at that time it looked much more interesting.

This game really interests me...S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games are some my absolute favorites of all time. The only thing I really don't like about this is that it is an MMO...Hoping there is an SP version or mode, but depending on some things I could get into it as MP.

Hopefully there are creatures/monsters too like by Stalker otherwise it would be a bit boring, open BF4.

This guy right here. Seriously, if someone said this was a new S.T.A.L.K.E.R. sequel, I wouldn't even question it.

Reminds me of survival mode in H1Z1.

The FOV made me nauseous just by watching this. Playing it would probably mean I'd throw up. Good job using console FOV on PC. Well done. Contratu****inglations.

It looks nice, sure. Might even try it out. Only thing that bugs me, is that many games are trying to create that "Stalker-feel". You can tell immediatly, that this game failed already on that, if that even was their goal. Stalker games never were just about looting, killing and running around an old Russian/Ukrainian city. They were always about atmosphere. Sure this can be Stalker all the way, but it seems to lack the atmosphere. Enough ranting, though. I just cant stand it, if Stalker is mentioned while talking about a new game. Just because they cant recreate that one important thing. I just really hope this is not like DayZ or what that other game was. I hope they make dedicated server for PvP, or make an area where you can PvP if you wish. So hopefully they concentrate on PvE. Otherwise this just another DayZ clone. Weapon customization is something, that i've longed for. Many games dont give that chance anymore. This game might really be something to play with my friend, by a quick look. edit: I watched half of the video without rewinding, just when i got all that written down. New opinion, a DayZ clone which rides on by "Stalkers hardcoreness" and "Stalkerish enviroment".:flame:

Well said, my thoughts exactly. Stalker was great because of it's haunting backstory and oppressive atmosphere, supported by cool gameplay and shooting mechanics. I'd love to see some of the inventory management and weapon modifications in a true Stalker successor but this doesn't seem to be it.
