Screw Epic, for bring console exclusivity style warring to the PC.
Instead of making their store better than the competition, they just pay studios not to release games on other platforms.

They are just doing what Valve or EA or any other store owner did in the last 2 decades, except GoG.

I dont care much if the game is locked to a specific store, I tolerate that. I dont like DRM so if possible I buy on GOG.
So for me is not about if the game is locked, but the attitude of the company, EPIC games promoted themselfs like the savior of PC Gaming and did the oposite, they are the most agressive on PC exclusives, and their platform is little better than trash (a good spyware). Game is free on EPIC? No problem but I will buy on other store or official reseller. Game is exclusive? No problem, I dont play it, there are other good games to play.

Can we agree that we are now at the point where no one really cares anymore? You don't like Epic and it's practices? Fine, don't buy the game! I mean you'll only have to wait a short period of time before you can hand a higher percentage of your cash over to Valve any way so really who honestly cares anymore? It's not like PC Build Simulator 2 is a triple AAA must have title so what's the issue? I know any chance to tell anyone and everyone how you don't like Epic and EGS and like I said no one cares any more least of all Epic themselves.

People like to forget or do not even know that Steam was created to cut the after-launch support costs for a game so that more money could go to development. How did that work out? That was their selling point. If that was so true, why charge such a high price for their services? They do not care anymore what their purpose was in the beginning. All this Steam is the way to go makes me puke. The service was morphed into something it was never intended to be. As it is now, Steam is just shy of a social media platform for "gamers."

The pearl clutching in these EPIC threads is always amusing to read.

Yeah all clients really suck. They are just more ads to buy their games. Microsoft tried with their games section in windows, but publishers weren't to keep on that since that would not give a chance to boost sales.
I prefer GOG as well, but many games do not end up there somehow, so we are still stuck with the other launchers, no matter how old the game is.
