So basically its an AverMedia Live Gamer 4K? Same exact features but it took them a year longer to come out with the same thing AverMedia has had on shelves for close to 365 days now...

Yea, seem so, but low profile and cheaper, i just wished someone that isnt datapath released a card like this but for Displayport, i can understand that HDMI opens a lot more options from capturing cameras, Cable Boxes, Consoles, PC cloning, etc, but i would love to be able to use it on a triple surround just taking the center signal with the displayport.

Avermedia 4K/HDR does it for less money. Also, dont forget that modern capture cards dont have hardware encoding, for example these so called 4K/HDR capture cards use NVENC and only made to be used on second PC. I have Avermedia 4K/HDR card, and tried capturing on same PC, to NVMe drive even to avoid lag, if you have high FPS [say 30-40% above 60] then it will be ok, youll be able to both game, enjoy and capture but if you tight at borderline 60, [I was trying to capture Shadow of TR with RTX on] the drop will be to 40fps, its all due to the fact the capture is done trough your video card using NVENC to encode into HEVC. At least the guys from Avermedia say it outright, go buy second PC, this card is not for one PC gaming and capturing

You right, but im a global guy, i look for deals on all amazon stores, newegg, ebay, european ebays etc... i got it on amazon Spain on sale for 200EUR, minus EURO VAT, 165EUR, then i paid about 12 EUR shipping and my own import tax so i paid about 200EUR for it total with shipping and taxes, which is 220-230USD BTW, right now its available on amazon Canada for 300CAD = 225USD P.S. I just found this interesting device, its about 500USD, and only supports 4K/30 max [HDMI 1.4b] but its standalone, has LAN and does h.264 or h.265 encoding and dual streaming. This is great if you want to do Single PC pro streaming and even have copy of the video for YT upload, in theory it can stream directly https://www.tbsdtv.com/products/tbs2604-4k-uhd-hd-h265-and-h264-hdmi-video-encoder.html

I trust AVerMedia more than ElGato though; especially when it comes to PCIe cards. I had nothing but problems with my old ElGato PCIe capture cards. No problems with my AVerMedia ones.

And the news came in, this card is limited to 4:2:0 all the time, Avermedia does 4:4:4 at about 9min of the review he talks about it and shows example, it affects text [youtube=meh4BqGCuSo]
