I always wonder at what point do companies like Elgato/Corsair decide to make new iterations of what is esentially the same product (Such as the HD60 S/+) and when they release 'new' ones like this. And for that matter, whether or not some of these new features like HDR support can't just be flashed in. As far as I can tell, all this does is support VRR, which frankly I thought they all did anyways...

No devices now support VRR pass-trough. The hi end capture cards do support 4K/60+HDR capture, I have one, but block VRR This thing is strange, 4K60s+ can do 4K/60+HDR and at least based on this article the new one is limited to 1080p+HDR and 4K/30 capture, its made for old streaming only BTW, PS5 internal capture is so good that im on not installing a capture card on new pc build.
