Why do they insist on covering half of the block with this metallic sheet? I really dislike it. Each to their own I guess, but I much prefer the design used for the FC Titan/780/780ti where you can see the whole block through clear acetal.

I agree. I have the 780Ti version and it looks (and performs) very nicely. ...Now if they could just make a CPU block with better relative performance...

because big capacitors... ek could make the block thicker but i guess it's too expensive

I get the accel/nickle anyways so that don't bother me this makes me want a 980 gaming even more now. Is there a soft mod that works to increase voltage on these cards past the normal allowed in MSIAB?
