Ssateneth:

The TR block that EK should have released at the start instead of the garbage we did get. Remains to be seen if the split jetplate has any sort of significant performance increase or beats the competition at all. https://images.hardocp.com/images/articles/1519279007f4wbo5i5wz_3_4_l.png
Agree with this there, I think they're been first with their TR4 WB which literally is probably worse performing TR4 WB I still would rather go with Watercool HEATKILLER, have Heatkiller IV Pro on my X99 and love it Hope this helps Thanks, Jura

EK is not bad there, have 3*GPUs blocks and no issues, they perform pretty much good but now I would go with Phanteks Glacier WB, Heatkiller or Bykski or Barrow WB on my build Hope this helps Thanks, Jura

I am done with using EK stuff. Had GPU block which was chipping nickel flakes in past, but after reading that they get issues worked out I decided to try their C6H monoblock last year and it have same problem. 60% of nickel plating gone from inside of monoblock within 3 months and on top of that there seems to be also quality/design issues as after removing monoblock I found that it more or less had no touch with half of the VRMs (was not ocing CPU so temps were still not that high) and as well CPU temperature was bit higher than it should be. Had to reseat it 3 times to get CPU temperature down. So for next builds I will stay with Aquacomputer, Watercool or Phanteks stuff as they seems to endure chipping and corrosion much better. PS: Original Aorus 1080ti WB used in same loop with EK monoblock showed just very little corosion/discoloration when EK monoblock was looking absolutly awfull.

Hi there I have been using EK blocks for few years, their Copper blocks has been faultless and no issues, their Nickel plated blocks that's another story, have one Nickel block which is still in perfect condition, there is discolouration which is easy to clean with Autosol metal polish, but still plating is in perfect condition, no flaking etc Regarding the nickel flaking off this pretty common if you are using silver coil and distilled water or seen same when people run PrimoChill VUE due this I strongly recommend use premix coolant like Mayhems X1 or XT-1 or EK CryoFuel etc I don't have best experience with monoblocks, used two on friend build where his temperatures has been around 5-7°C higher than with normal block, VRM temperatures has been bit lower but not by massive amount Have used like Aquacomputer, Phanteks or Heatkiller blocks and quality of them is lot better than EK that's for sure, have now starting to use for friends builds Barrow or Bykski water block for GPUs mostly, for CPU block I still prefer to use Heatkiller IV Pro or Aquacomputer Kryos and new Phanteks EKWB is not bad brand, but their nickel plated blocks are pretty poor quality and I wouldn't touch them again, wish they are still make Copper blocks than nickel Hope this helps Thanks, Jura
