This is not a gaming monitor you muppet. FFS. Don't need 120Hz on a professional production monitor.

Was answered above but we'll get there soon enough, just have to start getting some HDMI 2.0 and/or DisplayPort 1.3 monitors available first to handle the required bandwidth, which also means getting GPU's supporting those standards I suppose. (Not really sure what the current NV 900 and AMD 290 series supports.) Anyway that looks like a really nice screen though probably not something I would get myself due to what it will likely cost. :P

You'd need 6 GTX980s in hexaSLI to run FC4 on Ultra @ 120fps at this resolution! (assuming 100% hexaSLI scaling)

Unfortunately, this powerful device won’t be going on sale globally until June or July of 2015 but when it does it might be a highly worthwhile purchase for any serious design professional, despite its expected $4,600 price tag. (4k.com) IMO DP1.3 is a must.

people still dont seem to know the difference between 120Hz on panel vs 120Hz on the signal. a 120Hz screen doesnt need a 120Hz signal to "remove" motion blur.

I didnt know that, ah well i guess im a idiot then. Cant know everything can you. 😀 Tbh i couldnt give a toss how monitors work and i have no intention to educate myself either as i find it all abit....zzzZZzzz. All i know is when a 4k 120hz IPS monitor appears for sale, i will be one of the first inline to purchase it. As for the meantime, my 120hz IPS Overlord Tempest is doing a fine job at this very moment.

Aha! I've always wondered if there was a name for this effect! Absolutely hate it!
