just an important point: for $4.99 of the xbox live service you have FULL COMPLETE GAME twice a month (mean that you still have it even if you close your suscription)... when EA offer you only access. i think they mistake with PSN lol

That's on 360 only. Xbox One Gold works the same as PSN unfortunately.

Why would i pay a monthly fee for this if i can buy them and own these games myself? Most of them are allready older and decreased in price and cost around 10 euro or less (depending where you buy).

Because depending on your time you could play through all the single player campaigns in just a month, for 4.99$ if you really want or need to, which would indeed save you money. Not my thing still.

This is not a bad idea for games that you can complete the single player campaign in a month or two. However for games like Sim City and Fifa you would want to purchase those because they have more than 1 month of game play unless you are trying those games out before purchasing them.

Weak selection. They should've had Titanfall in it too.

Now on X1 you get the 360 games also so depending on console it is 2 or 4 games a month.

Still, imagine that you have 2 months of free time at your hand and you'll play all those single player games for $10. You do not have to care once you are done with them. It is OK for someone who knows that he/she will be very busy afterwards.

Yah, I think they are limited to the deals being done with the developer, or games they have nourished themselves.

So you get their list of "vault" games for a month? And if the change the games, you get a different list then?

I guess so. Basically it's their choice what they give to you, no matter what you subscribed to last month.

Not according to their FAQ, it just keeps growing. New games are not in the vault, only old games - if you want the new stuff, you gotta buy it, but you get a discount of 10% and access to all trials when no one else does. It's really up to the individual whether they think there is value in doing this, and will probably depend largely on what games are gonna come out over the next 12 months. 10% is still 10%, so...again it's down to the individual. I suppose the question is: would you pay Valve the same amount for their games? If so, should Valve do a similar thing for Steam?

FAQs can be changed, as well as catalogues. Usually in the terms of service there should be a something about them changing the offer without further notice. I don't trust EA, and I certainly wouldn't trust them to not eventually phase out some games at some time in the future as they see fit.

EA don't have the games library to pull this off and make it profitable. Plus early access to their games? No thanks. The last thing i wanna play is an unfinished buggy game.

Sad thing is I have most of those games in that sad list already. Most were purchased through Humble Bundle for very cheap. Some of the ones in that list are/were "on the house" (FREE) games. I am sure some suckers will sign up for it. As it is now, it is a complete waste of money.
