Just be a good single player story driven game with plenty of fantasy and monsters and a massive open living world, and we got a winner.......oh and no shoehorned in online please.

Okay, at some point we will get another TES game. At least something...

I don't think this has been cooking for a long time yet. More like the kitchen has been waiting for the chefs for a long time now. Hard to say anything about the teaser. Could be anywhere, which is probably exactly what Bethesda intended.

Yeah. Though a 2 person COOP wouldn't make me furious. It might be funny. Like the actual player and a sidekick controlled by another. Although not forcefully by some random stranger from the internets.

I hope they make it playable offline and a SINGLE PLAYER experience... they already have TESO for any online sillyness they want to try out, even if it's coop.

Yes and no. Judging by the terrain, and close proximity to the coastline (but then again, all Tamriel provinces border shore in one way or another) this gives us several hints - so far Bethesda hasn't revisited the same province twice in their open world single player titles. This suggests two potential candidates for the next setting: High Rock and Hammerfell. However, I won't exclude Summerset Isles as they have highly varied terrain as well. I highly doubt it will be - Black Marsh, Elsweyr, Valenwood due to climate.

I think it looks like Northern Hammerfell based on the terrain, but who knows at this point. It may not even be on the continent of Tamriel. 😉

Elder Scrolls VI: Akavir. Yes, please. 😉

Hopefully story line will be more mature this time.

Pre Production so that's gonna be around 2022.

Elder Scrolls 2 was located in High Rock and Hammerfell. Although I never played it, so it would be all new for me. However, I'm not so sure that teaser shot couldn't be from pretty much anywhere plausible. It didn't cover overly much and was highland, so the climate and vegetation could be quite different from the majority of the map. Still, I largely agree on your list of doubtfuls unless Bethesda was trying to be purposefully misleading.

I tried playing it, however, even my love for Old School stuff has its limits in 2018. 😉 90% of the modern player base hasn't even played Morrowind. Besides older games are ancient by this point, so I haven't even counted them in. But then again as you said it can be anywhere, as they can simply rip it out of context.

Oh good! I hope it is not too far off from release.

I think the last time I was able to play (or tried it to see how I remembered it) was more than ten years ago. Didn't work. There's limit to retro :P I did sporadically play Dungeon Master at those times though. I don't think I'd be able to play even Oblivion. It just looks like crap these days.

Never liked Oblivion to begin with. Morrowind is my Love, however, still, have it with a gazillion of mods.

Great, some new arrows to follow and something new to play whilst I listen to documentaries in the background. I hope it's isn't further dumbed down like with F4.

At least there'll be another EOS released before I die. Yay!
