" DTS (Dedicated To Sound) is a series of multichannel audio technologies owned by DTS, Inc. (formerly known as Digital Theater Systems, Inc.), an American company specializing in digital surround sound formats used for both commercial/theatrical and consumer grade applications. It was known as The Digital Experience until 1995. DTS licenses its technologies to consumer electronics manufacturers. In December 2016, DTS was acquired by Tessera, now called Xperi." Soooo....Bezos bought DTS and it's now going all the way to hell? Or Tessera is forgetting what DTS is? Either way, at least we still have Dolby. I can personaly look away from inferiority compared to (aspect that I care for) DTS in the past because this "sell out" for a coin from Amazon is just disgusting. I didn't even know that they mutilated the codec name from Digital Theater Systems to this nonsense, but I see how it actually fits this play...
