Now now that's crazy talk , they will rise the prices to cover up the 'lost' sales leading to even lower sales witch in return will force em to rise prices more!

The overnight tripling of prices is why my Ryzen 2700 system had only 16GB of RAM, which haunts me to this day because I upgraded that system repeatedly and it's my current 5800X3D system.

Thats why I had 16gb for so long as well. When I built my first ryzen system in sep 2017 my X370 was $129, came with a $50 case free, $89 for my LPX 16GB 3000, and $189 for the R5 1500x. Not even 2 months later, same ram was $179! And only got worse after that. So I stayed on my 16gb LPX 3000 till 2021 when I got 32GB 3600 for $109.
