I'm pulling my hair out why I can't get my two (Vega's RX64 Liquid) to work in CF on Windows 10 64, while W7 64 works fine. Since driver 17.9.2. the first that enables CF on Vega, the issues are as follow, driver won't install completely, probably at the proces of initiating CF, and a blackscreen follows. Rebooting causes a black screen or one GPU disabled in devicemanager. I really looked forward to Vega CF, but its a nightmare here for now in W10. I'm probably pulling a dead horse, because I'm the only one in the world with this config and problem and iy seems to stay here as solid gravity is. πŸ™ πŸ™ Is there anyone in the world who is using Vega CF with an X99 sytem, (maybe with a 5K mst screen ) who has this working in W10??

Pull one GPU out install drivers and then put the second one in. If you have Dip switches on your board for PCIE Slots you don’t need to take the GPU out

used to run triple 290x on x79 but when I had issues like this DDU usually resolved them. be sure to run DDU https://www.wagnardsoft.com/ which will purge old driver remnants and temporarily stops OS video driver from auto updating while you are trying to manual update, then reinstall drivers.

so installed the latest 17.10.1 driver and similar to my recent 17.9.3 results, no Overwatch crashes while playing the Holloween special last night for a few hours on my vega 64 air. Played a few quick games too and it was fine. Did Blizz silently fix the crashing issue?

Done this too. This will indeed install the first GPU correctly, but as soon as put the second next to it, it goes black screen when trying to initiate CF/installing the driver. Also had one time both GPU's where installed, but couldn't enable CF.

Didn't help, also tried the AMD uninstall utility and a fresh OS install.

This driver now shows up on AMD website with a new date of October 10. The thing is, if I download 'em, the file size is exactly the same as with the original version, so I have no idea whether they have changed something, or if it's a case of waiting until they make the "new" package available. Maybe a 17.10.1 WHQL driver later today?

Still shows as "sorry" here. http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/Radeon-Software-Crimson-ReLive-Edition-17.10.1-Release-Notes.aspx Interesting though, probably going to be signed unless it's some minor but important hotfix they corrected and re-released the drivers with, guess we'll know shortly. EDIT: Ah but that works. http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows+10+-+64 EDIT: Still October 6th in the file name however so it should be unchanged from the G3D download yesterday. πŸ™‚

Still no Fix for Overwatch - Wow.

Oh great job AMD. The 17.10.1 uninstaller removes my Windows 10 printers. I've double checked it. Right after running the AMD uninstaller and checking Devices and Printers on CP, they are gone. I'll be testing 17.9.3 too to check if the problem isn't new. Edit: 17.9.3 is fine, reinstalling 17.10.1 and then uninstalling removed them again.

I've been trying to use ReLive alongside with Firefox 57, but it will always freeze upon stopping (as in saving) my recording(s) and making my browser lag.

Thought I'd try these again with a different game, this time a fully vanilla, unmodded Skyrim Special Edition, my system shut down upon start up there as well. Maybe its just DX11 games. I should have tried a DX9 game but I didn't have one installed at the moment and I wasn't in the mood to go through it.

Don't forget to report it to AMD. Personally, I always use DDU before installing a new driver πŸ˜€

I've posted on the AMD forum, on a thread were a user was being pointed that the problem should be in the last CU. (link) I always use DDU in safe mode, but only in the next boot after running the AMD uninstaller. Next time, I'll have to rely solely on DDU.

Yikes, this driver crashes my entire system as soon as trying to start Fallout 4 on Fall Creators Update. Just shuts down the machine. Back to 17.9.3
Sounds like you have a power supply issue! BSOD's and the like are possible but in my experience it mostly ends up with display driver stopped responding. Faulty drivers Do Not shut down computers 99.99% of the time.

I was concerned about hardware issues too but it only happens with this driver. Hasn't happened before, hasn't happened since I got rid of it. I'll keep an eye open, if it starts happening more I'll know there's something more going on, but for the time being its been localized to just this scenario.
