Small note, during driver installation, you could see overlapping text on install options, this will be fixed in the next driver.

One tiny nuisance: after the installation was over (and the screen had gone black for a couple of seconds as usual when installing video drivers) my desktop background image did not show and the desktop background was just solid black (but desktop icons were correctly shown); a simple reboot (which I always do anyway after a driver update) fixed it.

Running DDU and a clean driver install reduced the number of black screen crashes for me dramatically. Just ran DDU again and am installing 20.2.2, hopefully this new release solves the issue finally.
Undying
Used ddu and installed just fine (disabled internet while installing). Gonna do some testing and few games.

When the radeon software host application starts in the background (usually 2 min after restart the pc),
the windows timer resolution change from 15,625 to 1.
The latest driver that dont change this value is the 19.12.

Slightly higher score than usually but nothing extraordinary:

Performing a task switch with some Radeon Software features enabled or some third-party applications with hardware acceleration running in the background may cause a system hang or black screen.
Ffs, I just sent in my RX 5700 XT to RMA for this earlier this week....... But it might be suffering from worse problems, since it could happen when doing almost nothing but browser work.

Am I missing something? I know they did acknowledge downclocking issue for some games but I can't seem to find it. Did they sweep it under the rug or is it this;
"Performance Metrics Overlay and Radeon WattMan incorrectly report lower than expected clock speeds on Radeon RX 5700 series graphics products during gaming workloads."
Because if I recall correctly it was not labeled as clock reporting issue before.

Am I the only one who actually have overheating problem since updating to 2020 edition of AMD drivers ? i tried it more than 3 times now, each time i go back to older drivers it gets fixed, when i install any 2020 driver version overheating starts again, no clock changes and nothing strange, just overheating, fans are also working
