@JonasBeckman What's in it? From Gamer perspective is a Good driver 😛

Work way better than original driver on my brand new Athlon GE, but i can no more OC it 🙁 On other hand i don't need it, it was just an extra bonus 🙂

Profile file itself isn't showing much, small bump in driver version from 19.2.2 is all I can get so it's pretty much as per the release notes, small bug fixes but also finally resolving this inconsistency with the mobile GPU support AMD had previously. Jump from 25.xx to 26.xx and WDDM 2.6 from 2.5 for 19H1 I'm hoping will be a fun one to look into a bit and see if there's more to be had from there though more fixes to Wattman and Adrenaline 2019 would be welcome. Going by the new MSI Afterburner beta and Unwinder's commentary on VII I'm starting to think a bit of these might be as designed though like the way the fan curvature works though some of those details are likely specific to VII and going by reports on the PCB and GPU core the Mi50/Vega 20 type Radeon Vii against the Vega 10 type Vega 64 (or 56) has a number of improvements or changes more than I was expecting. 🙂 Always fun to learn more though the subject matter is quite complex so I'm mostly picking up a few things here and there and slowly trying to learn more and improve hah!

... You enable manual curve? Zero RPM dont work.
Actually what I call a fat bug - why is zero rpm disabled in manual mode when it's just temperature related? Zero RPM should work in both modes

580 perform same as 1070 in dirt 2. How much more optimizations do you want? 😛

No, Intel handles all driver updates for that product.

19.2.1 was a mess, wattman was broken and overclock profile didnt load corectly. This one works, no problems so far and i can use memory timings level 2 without crashing.

I updated both my rigs to 19.2.3, on my Radeon VII rig, no problem at all. But, on my dual RX VEGA64 rig, a weird issue cropped up. Displayport output suddenly stopped working, my monitor screen kept trying to display desktop, but all I get is 'Displayport HDR' tab/splash on top left of screen, usually, I get to desktop with this message tab on top left of screen (it's a feature of my monitor). Monitor is blank, but on, I plugged in a HDMI cable and could get to desktop. Everything seemed to worked, except I can't get 144Hz refresh, instead I'm stuck with 120Hz, 144Hz is only available on the DP. I figured it was still fine, but when I play Metro Exodus, I can't get 3840x1080 though I'd set that res, instead I get 1920x1080 stretched to fit screen. Think I'm gonna revert back to 19.2.2 for my CF VEGA64 rig.....

Windows' own driver from update store is WDDM 2.6. 19.2.3 isn't yet capable of it. Just for your info. I doubled checked after format. After this installation my WDDM version degraded to 2.5 from 2.6.

Today i did a little oc session on my pc and was testing it with 3dmark time spy and i'm amazed with this my r9 380. On default clocks usually it was doing about 3063-3068 points, on this driver i reached 3081. After this, encouraged by free boost in score from driver, having a bit of spare time i decided to try some overclocking. Few attempts later i ended up with ram clocked from 3000MHz to 3133MHz, gpu at 1120MHz, vram 1750MHz (afterburner didn't allow more, slider ends here :P ), power limit +20 and voltage +50mV. All that made score jump from stock 3068 points to 3552!!! Here are links to scores: Stock settings: https://www.3dmark.com/spy/6422266 Overclocked: https://www.3dmark.com/spy/6422665 All this is stable and on stock aircoolers.

ai i wrote had a similar issue with 19.2.1 it happened 4 times that at windows boot i can't saw the desktop as the monitor said "unsupported signal" via displayport. in this case a reset from the cabinet solved the problem and wattman said its settings have been restored

I had a Tahiti card overclocked, lasted me long but when i got this 580 difference is night and day. Tonga is showing its age guys i think you should let it go. I dont think Metro would be playable at all with 380.

I did this oc just for fun. I'm waiting for navi, 580 seems to me to be too little upgrade, vegas 56 and 64 are a bit too expensive for temporary upgrade as that's what they would be so... ye, 380 will stay in here for a bit too long. Metro exodus is unplayable on this gpu, yes, that's what i said in this or previous thread and would be pure stupid if i would state anything else.

o_O Current Windows version supports only WDDM 2.5, so what's an issue?

19H1 insider user and that's on WDDM 2.6 via the AMD insider drivers (Supplied via Microsoft's servers.) though until late March or early April perhaps it's not a huge concern outside of the fast and slow rings for Win10 insiders. (Release preview is on a newer cumulative but until 19H1 goes RTM it usually never gets a new build and then there's skip ahead to 20H1 but there's also a later 19H2 version coming out.)
