I must be doing something wrong as well, as i can't get it to apply anything. :P Im not bothererd about the voltage control, im just doing the same as on my old 290X, setting it to without PowerPlay Support in the Unofficial Overclocking Mode, then power limit to 50%, clocks up a bit, hit apply, but nothing changes. EDIT: I never uninstalled the old version, i just installed over the top, and it all updated fine, like ive always done, but could be the problem ?

Well i have MSI GTX 980 TI lightning edition and i was waiting for the support they promised. I do not have any memory voltage option and do not have any memory temp option in monitoring in Afterburner 4.2.0. I am really disappointed by this support. MSI you did not check before releasing this? It is same 4.1.1. There is no addition support for MSI GTX 980 TI lightning. http://postimg.org/image/nsme68r5x/full/

Did you replace any files in the application folder after installation? For me it looks like RTCore.cfg from older version was manually copied on top of installed 4.2.0.

I've already replied personally to you in AMD Crimson threads telling that 4.2.0 will not allow you to disable Power Play with unofficial overclocking. And there is more than direct statement on that in the release notes: - Added unofficial overclocking support for PowerPlay7 capable graphics cards (AMD Tonga and newer graphics processors family). Please take a note that unofficial overclocking mode with completely disabled PowerPlay is currently not supported for PowerPlay7 capable hardware Sorry but RTFM.

Maybe people should be doing a clean install.

MSI 980Ti Lightnings is defined in hardware database as VEN_10DE&DEV_17C8&SUBSYS_11511462 Your card is VEN_10DE&DEV_17C8&SUBSYS_32501462 Are you sure that your card is really genuine 980Ti Lightning with native VGA BIOS? If you're sure that it is, contact MSI directly to get right BIOS. They don't post/read forums here.

It took some searching but this appears to be the MSI 980Ti bios you've mentioned. https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/173284/msi-gtx980ti-6144-150424.html (Stock 980 Ti) And this appears to be his. https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/175831/msi-gtx980ti-6144-150818.html (980 Ti Lighting.) So at a guess Afterburner while it now supports the 980 Ti currently does not support the Lighting GPU model of it because of a bios difference. (Unwinder likely knows this better than I do but maybe this will be of some help.)
