You are right, I had "upto 100Mbs" VDSL a few month ago that was ~55Mbs in best case, now in same price my building got connected to Fiber and I got 200Mbs for $22/m unlimited traffic and with $4 more I can have 1000Mbs 🙂, only reason I am not upgrading to 1Gbs is because I am using Wifi and the max speed will be the same (150Mbs~250Mbs on AC wifi).

Actually, that's even a little on the slow side as the file is too small to reach full speed. The NL en DE mirrors both are 10 Gbit/s. I'm on a 400 Mbit/s downstream myself.
