How many driver releases / hotfixes has Nvidia put out in the last 30 days?

BF5 runs nice and smooth with these

And you'd moan if there was none, its good they are actively improving them.

Finally there's proof that DLSS is just an overrated upscaler. Look at all these jaggies on the right. Also Nvidia is comparing 1080Ti running full 4K against 2080Ti running DLSS. Just.... LOL. 😕 🙄 https://abload.de/img/dlss3rcms.png

TAA seems so ... misty? compared to DLSS All those aa tricks have so many flaws...

Will try these because we're masochists. 😛

Yep, TAA has a lot of issues. MSAA 4x is better, but the performance hit is a lot higher, so it's all about what you are willing to sacrifice. Personally, 4k + 2x MSAA/FXAA is about as good a balance as I have found.

Finally there's proof? That's exactly what they have said it is all along. It renders multiple times at a lower res, then combines and upscales. That's why the performance and output is about the same as running one step in resolution lower (900p vs 1080p for example) and using MSAA.

Good drivers so far with obvious improved smoothness. Tried some R6 Siege and the game runs flawless. Going to try more games soon & report back.

^ This and that TAA is blurry. As with last few, this one is good in BFv for me.

Indeed! It looks like 2k instead of 4k. In motion, the DLSS looks much sharper. Weird.

I know that, but many people didn't believe it's upscaling. I remember Digital Foundry pixel counted DLSS to be 1440p.

Hard to say from compressed Youtube video. It might just be bad video compression playing tricks. Or it might be that Nvidia is using some sharpening with DLSS to make image pop. We'll need more in depth analysis. But from that aliasing it's very obvious that DLSS doesn't come close to native 4K look, unlike what Nvidia was claiming at first.

TAA is adding ghosting in motion due to temporal accumulation of samples, DLSS doesn't as there are no temporal component in it, only spatial reconstruction by AI. FFXV is a bad example though as it's TAA implementation seems to be very bad.

Where did NV ever claimed that?
