Why is the official driver from NVIDIA to small (~356MB), while the one guru3d mirrors is the usual 537mb? Something smells fishy here.. Same filename, just much smaller. The official one also lacks a digital signature, very weird.

Turing GPU Driver Installation on Windows 10 Drivers for Turing GPUs will not be installed on systems with Windows 10 RS2 or earlier. This includes Windows 10 Threshold 1, Threshold 2, Redstone 1, and Redstone 2 operating systems.

Asking out of curiosity and lacking knowledge, do such restrictions actually have a good reason (WDDM?), or is it just to keep people up to date with their windows bugs and spying policy resets forced onto people? 😀 I recently "had" to switch to LTSC because I couldn't even get DXR to work under 1607.

FYI - the resetting of NVCP desktop color settings when alt-tabbing out of a game on Windows 10 1903 18362.53 still hasn't been fixed.

Just installed on windows 10 1809 WDDM2.5 and i found that 3D Vision Support isn't included in the installer package. I never used that but oh well.. Other than than i installed the DCH version of the driver after DDU and have done my classic optimization routine! No issues so far gonna test some games and report back. This driver has indeed WDDM2.6 support on windows 10 1903. Waiting for someone to report his experience on that cause i'm on windows 1809 at the moment! 🙂

Well nvidia download link is broken - 357mb, when I try to extract it says not a 7z format and cancels. Downloading from guru3d now, that one is 537mb..
