good... the last 397.93 are the worst drivers i´ve used by years... crashing, slowdowns, low framerate i´m back to better i´ve used before 397.64 but have hope on this new one any branch info?

The additional services and running processes for crash reporting and telemetry? I guess those are here to stay after their inclusion in the earlier 397.x drivers but at least they can be disabled. Well it won't be too long until someone reports what this driver is doing and how it's performing compared to the previous releases. 🙂 (Seems like they did something for G-Sync and HDR capable displays.) EDIT: Eh I can just look up the 397.64 thread and see what that did if that's where these originated from. (I think the services were a bit more recent so it's different from what I was thinking of.)

i think with free of crap installation you will be free of these additional services

They still support 3D Vision? That's pretty cool of them. I enjoyed that way more than VR.

gotta love nvidia. no change of the surround+sli config settings on their website that instruct people to connect displays to both cards, yet connecting to both cards (if your using an hb bridge) hasnt worked since 368.51 (june 2016). This in turn prevents proper downclocking of the cards so unless your cool with wasting a bunch of energy and having your card idle @ 50c+ you get to use MDPS which creates issues of its own. Win for everyone! Not mentioned as an open issue of course. Nor is the netflix stutter that is present to varying degrees in every driver since almost the beginning of time. AMD has finally fixed it. Course to be fair, with AMD's newest drivers in eyefinity the non "main" display wont sleep properly since 17.7.1 crimson ~6 months ago. Blecgh. The moral of this story, DO NOT go surround/eyefinity. Go accessory display if must, and carefully consider SLI. Using them all together = aids.
