Do these drivers fix the various issues that seem to be related to OpenGl and Vulkan? Games like Doom 3 crash, Doom and Wolfenstein New Order have issues with gpu clocks not slowing down after exiting the game.

Change your power management mode to others or reboot your PC. Currently, the prefer maximum performance caused the clocks remained at high state.

My issue is with Doom 3 crashing, not Doom 2016. These crashes don't occur with drivers 382.53

Yet still no async compute for Maxwell?

r384_71-4 (.76 was -3) Doom OGL/VK clocking bug is not fixed in these.

I tried to install Doom 3 & so far no crash yet.

Set adaptive & still playable.

Yet still no async compute for Maxwell?
I don't think this will ever be enabled. It lowers performance, unless the application specifically targets Maxwell cards (which nobody does, and shouldn't do.) So it's good that it's disabled. Otherwise, you would see a significant performance drop in DX12 games that support async compute and don't have an option to disable it.

Do you have sli? Seems to be sli related, and some issues with shadows and explosions. Same settings with 382.53 installed and there are no crashes. Game will run, when there is an explosion screen will flicker, and then message out of range, then pc freezes.

Disable SLI & re-test again.

Also playing Doom no problems here no flickering either with SLI or freezings, i think the problem is on your end buddy. Now i wait for 3 drivers or so i am getting frustrated nivdia is releasing @ least one driver once a week thats to much for my taste.

If its on my end then why with every older driver the game runs without issues? Seems to be some issues with opengl and sli, without sli the new drivers seem to be ok, but why should I not use sli when its been working for years and works with the previous drivers?

If you said single card no issue, then must be related to SLI or "Multi-display/mixed-GPU acceleration" being dropped. (Guessing) Why don't you stick with previous driver? What's the point playing Doom 3 with dual graphic cards in the first place?

Well I am sticking to the previous driver, and I prefer to use Sli. Thought I would post my findings with these drivers. Isn't that the point of these forums?

Testing to see what works best is a good idea if you want something to report. SLI introduces a slight lag and none uniform frame times so if its isnt needed it may be best left off.

Yet still no async compute for Maxwell?
Maxwell GPUs have a static resource scheduler, so you will not see "async compute" boost on Maxwell GPUs.

People speaks about DOOM, not DOOM 3.

I am curious to know how you can play DOOM (DOOM 4 2016 ?) with SLI ? This game has no SLI support
https://forums.guru3d.com/data/avatars/m/206/206288.jpg
Probably running the game in OpenGL, which ive read does use both GPU's but there is no performance gain from doing it. Vulkan on the other hand no no support at all.
