Seeing all of the FREE recent hubbub with the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU), I wonder what the Wagnard people are getting out of this! There are no more free lunches these days! For that matter I have been diligently and routinely replacing my NVIDIA and Audio drivers now for over 5-years and never had a problem with so-called leftovers and with using Windows very own ‘disk cleanup’ tools. I also wonder if in both Win-10 or Win-11 environments whether or not a third party tool like DDU is really needed anymore. And whether or not I am now the product including a free lunch proffered by Wagnard.

DDU was never needed/mandatory for every driver uninstall / installation. It's a tool to help you when needed. Advanced users who prefer to have their system as clean as possible and not wasting space or people that do drivers performance test and want to be sure nothing is impacting their results are usually saying it's good practice to use it. So, you don't have to use it if your way of updating your driver work fine for you. The magic words are really use it if you encounter a problem and DDU may be able to fix it and avoid a Windows reinstallation.

@Tom Sunday fact (for me): not a single time where ppl had fixable (sw/driver/win related) issues, that didnt get fixed with this tool, ignoring i can make a "clean" sys for new (different release) driver install when upgrading chipset/cpu/gpu stuff on rigs that have not been maintained properly,. to prevent any possible rollback etc., and disable auto updates in win, so any new (crappy) driver coming out (and auto updating), wont mness up my system, like those of my friends couple times a year. just because your not a "pro", doesnt mean there is no use for "pro" tools...
