A blank or black screen may occur after a driver upgrade using certain display configurations. I have this issue, except with my NVidia GPU lol

the new driver put less "stress" into the Compute Units to do Ray Tracing as it requires less resources to do it now. more fix for MeshShaders alongside these Vulkan Extension VK_EXT_image_sliced_view_of_3d VK_EXT_vertex_input_dynamic_state VK_EXT_extended_dynamic_state3 VK_EXT_device_fault VK_EXT_shader_module_identifier VK_EXT_mesh_shader VK_EXT_pipeline_library_group_handles VK_EXT_descriptor_buffer they also exposed specific floating instruction only for Navi3 arch

and uhn... the added Extension is most likely this one: VK_NV_displacement_micromap refer to nvidia's documentation for details here and it support 64/256/1024 triangles, this extension is only exposed on Vulkan 1.3 Beta. the next thing in bucket list i want them to support are: VK_EXT_opacity_micromap as it's heavily used on Portal RTX and Cyberpunk 2077 RT Overdrive.

Wattman reset on every boot was finally fixed dont tell me issue is back? Im updating myself will test it out.

Do these drivers fix inability to stream using ReLive and massively crippled encoder even on OSB?

On my PC, it's applying my custom settings on every reboot.

I think that the high idle power when using select high-resolution and high refresh rate displays on Radeon™ RX 7000 series GPUs problem is an architecture bug. It will never be fixed. 🙄

Though some improvements might be planned for later branches and thus some known issues can linger around for quite some time.

Relax, no problems on 22621.1555. 😛 I have it just on 25xxx builds (already 3 months).

Never had this before and I have used every single driver release for the past two years or more. Maybe you have some faulty hardware that is causing this or you pushed your OC too far / undervolt too low?

My previous amd card had the same issue. Everything works fine but you need to load profile on every boot.

Wattman will automatically reset on every single boot if it detects any kind of boot failure/issue regardless of if it's related to the GPU or not. I've had mine reset every day for a week straight due to an unstable ram overclock even though I was not noticing an issue with boot

Mine was caused by PCI Bus driver from AMD that is installed usually along side with my 6900 XT until i started disabling Windows Driver Updates on my 7900 XTX can technically leave it on wont install and i am glad it does not, i think it caused a lot more issues then just wattman reseting, must be very frustating for AMD as well to not know it was that driver all this time

That is some nice increase in Dead Island 2 with both 6000 and 7000 gpus. Brief display corruption may occur when switching between video and game windows on some AMD Graphics Products, such as the Radeon™ RX 6700 XT. Didnt notice this issue.
That's an issue I've been having for a while now and I'm currently on 23.2.2.... I've just accepted it as a "feature"....lol Even happened for me with previous drivers. Also had the issue multiple times with NVidia drivers. I just figured it was a feature of NVidia drivers and AMD just finally got around to adding it.

Google earth controller issue I can confirm is fixed with hp reverb g2 vr for me.

Still an issue with many 6000 series cards, they don't know what the hell they did to break it, because they don't know how to fix it.
IMO the problem is quite complex and this bug affects mainly GPUs with the DCN 3.02 (possibly also DCN 3.03 3.1), also it's monitor/connection/display config specific. It's quite old and I even ran into it once with the 5700XT. A number of fixes have been made to linux amdgpu kmd, although some gpu's IP firmware update has occasionally caused it to reappear. I believe "the wattman reset" has the same origin, it's just the bug appears right upon boot.

If its unstable or crash there is a error message on boot but there is none. Its a simply a driver issue just like vram being stuck at max on high resolution high refresh rate monitors.

Does it only occur on a cold boot or after a reboot too?
