Just as I expected - almost the same old Vulkan preview 23.10.01.41 driver. I won't even try it. I will stay with the last UWP 39003 driver. The previous 23.10.01.41 was very good, so this one should be good too. But I want the newest one. šŸ™‚

What the heck is this new issue? Display signal may be lost after switching windows on certain Adaptive-Sync enable displays on some AMD Graphics Products, such as the Radeonā„¢ RX 7900 XTX. This one is kinda expected... Anti-lag always was on per-game basis... Stuttering may be observed while playing Call of DutyĀ®: Modern WarfareĀ® II with Radeonā„¢ Anti-Lag enabled. As a temporary solution, users encountering this are recommended to disable the Anti-Lag in the per-game settings. Also will see if NOW they fixed corruption on app switching, or not. Quite a pack of new VULKAN extentions though

So would there be no need for a UWP 39003 modded driver from you?

A whole month for this crap. It's not so bad.

Maybe modded 23.7.1 with the newer Vulkan, OpenGL, DX9/10/11/12, OpenCL, and AMF from 39003? šŸ˜‰

Dang, that's bit sad... In 23.5.2 it is 9.14.10.01525... Literally one small patch? Well, who knows... Small patches can also be impactful, i suppose?

Did you meet this one before? Because listed issue means known for a while but unresolved yet, and not "specific to driver" Hmm... They changed something in installer? New "initialization" picture and a bit different font? Not significant changes, but still... Looked sharper, i suppose? Yeah... "ŠŸŠµŃ€ŠµŠ·Š°Š³Ń€ŃƒŠ·ŠŗŠ°" ("Reboot") button is offset now. But i may have not noticed that before, idk...

I've had an issue with the refresh rate set at 120hz. Mild flickering occasionally so I reduced it to 100hz where it has been fine.

You sure it is not cable issue? They can be pushed to the limits, you know, and quality varies heavily depending on manufacturer... Well, i guess it only would've been such at 4k resolution though.

At least all users can use the new 23.10.x branch now, so that's nice. Also the OpenGL, Vulkan extensions and ML Diffusion updates.

It's just me or this new driver doesn't install the PCI Bus anymore? I was having some weird issues recently until some users here suggested me to remove that driver... Today I did a clean update using DDU and the PCI Bus was not installed anymore. I also noticed less UI lag and the tray icon is actually being disabled as it should once I turn it off in settings...

If your system is Windows 11. It's doesn't install the PCI Bus.
data/avatar/default/avatar18.webp
PCI Bus - 23.10.0.0001 installed here, Win10. The Vulkan preview had 23.10.0.0004, I think...
data/avatar/default/avatar27.webp
did a clean install using ddu, gpuz was not detecting texturefillrate and other things, also gpu fan bugged at max when did and test using the amd software

I didn't check the vulkan preview drivers so a couple of new things might already have been there before: - This installer removed the initial decompress location prompt. It's now forced to c:\AMD\AMD-Software-Installer, which will be later deleted at the end of the install. If the setup is canceled, a 46MB c:\amd\AMD-Software-Installer\Bin64\AMDSoftwareInstaller.exe.tmp will be temporarily leftover, but automatically removed later along the main AMD-Software-Installer folder (likely also after a restart). As it were before, you could set a path to another drive where sub-folders named for each driver release would be maintained, making it quicker to switch between older drivers to troubleshoot. I know it's now handier for the 99% that don't care, bother to cleanup later, or go back and forth between versions, but it was nice to have as an option. Still, it should be possible to back it up after the installer opens. - "Display" was moved to a Gaming>Display tab instead of Settings>Display tab. (a bit of a strange decision) - For the pci bus question above, after a cleanup and then 23.7.1 install, this B450+RX480 W10 system got the "Pci Bus" 23.10.0.1 dated 09/03/2023. - Still creates a dummy Startup entry for AMDNoiseSupression.exe, which isn't installed on unsupported hw. - Polaris 5s long clock spikes on idle at every 60s behavior remains, as since 22.11.2 or so.
