AMD has released the Adrenalin 23.7.1 WHQL drivers, which bring forth various enhancements and bug fixes.

Although these drivers do not include optimizations for new games compared to the previous 23.5.2 version, they introduce several new Vulkan API extensions and address specific issues.

One notable addition is the inclusion of Vulkan-based accelerated video decoding for H.264 and H.265 formats, along with eight other extensions across the Khronos and Valve trunks. Furthermore, the drivers claim to enhance idle power consumption and multi-monitor power draw for RX 7000 series GPUs.

Among the resolved issues in the Adrenalin 23.7.1 WHQL drivers, improvements have been made to VR performance and stuttering experienced with RX 7000 series GPUs. Additionally, an application crash occurring in DaVinci Resolve Studio during AV1 video playback has been rectified. The drivers also address display corruption observed in WWE 2K23 and Nioh 2.

These driver updates provide users with improved performance and stability for their AMD GPUs, ensuring a smoother and more reliable gaming experience.
