Thanks for the post! Very excited to see Destiny 2 Beta support. Can't wait to give that a try soon.

Not too much of a difference against the atiapfxx.blb file of 17.8.1 but then again it's only been a short while since that driver was released. ๐
Overwatch, Watch_Dogs (1) and Dishonored 2 - Crossfire profile updates.
F1 2017 - "Dxx" profile added.

AMD currently.
DRIVERS? YOU WANT DRIVER!? HERE HAVE DRIVERS!
I hope they fix this.

Overnight? Guess when I downloaded these from AMD yesterday they already had the newer version then since I checked and it still shows August 24th for the download in it's name.
Must have been some quick hotfix I suppose, though 17.8.2 in general feels a bit like that overall with some additional Vega fixes but a couple of games getting supported too. ๐
(Only a few days after 17.8.1 was released out of it's earlier Beta 6 version heh.)
Still a few known issues for Vega though in those release notes, maybe a 17.8.3 will follow shortly?
(Or just 17.9.1 though that Wattman and input lag issue sounds annoying so sooner rather than later would be preferred for having that dealt with though it might be Vega GPU's only from how it's worded.)
EDIT: Well what do I know, but the sooner they can start wrapping up the known Vega issues and work out any performance deficiencies the better, PUBG is gaining popularity so having that supported is a good thing and Destiny 2's PC beta might be a bit of a big thing too depending on how long they'll have it running. (Though I think you have to pre-order to get access to it?)

PUBG is now supported, but my question it... They said improvements on vega cards, but this mean that the driver improve fps even on older, but still supported gpus, like hd 7750 etc?

Or not. The anserw to that isn't simple.

It seems they fixed the WattMan bug with voltages not sticking. It has some volt drop, about one or two steps, but not a problem.

Looks like VEGA has become the new low for frying pans.

WattMan now works fine. Finally.

Freesync on my cfg70 still strobes brightness with games and the windmill amd demo.
sad day, im about to swap my rx for my gtx 780ti, if im only gonna work with 144hz, then whats the point of having my rx470?

Yeah It seems like it. Applied 1150mv, it goes up-to 1.125~1.131volts.
But it still forgetts and spikes the voltage above what is configured in Wattman and setting a voltage, closing wattman and launching something like Google Chrome with some 3D load running (fire strike demo) the voltage is forgotten allowing it to push more voltage than configured.
It's like it reverts to auto-voltage.

Weird, as with the previous driver I had to manually scan installed games for them to appear on the gaming tab.
Now it only seems to list Steam games, unlike in the past.

With 17.8.1 and 17.8.2 I lose at least 20-25 FPS on average in PUBG with my RX 570 compared to the pre-Vega drivers. Only thing they fix for me is MSI Afterburner. Staying on 17.6.2 for now.

Gosh, WattMan still doesn't work. Still forgots voltages. Totally useless for me.

Small update: I've set the voltages with OverdriveNTool and it seems to be sticking. After 1 hour of Dirt 4 voltage didn't went above the value configured.
Still, Wattman is borked.
