Support For Conan® Exiles Beta Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon® Wildlands Beta Fixed Issues Changing memory clocks with Radeon WattMan with more than one display connected may cause memory clocks to intermittently become stuck at their minimum setting or switch between min and max ranges intermittently causing display flickering. Diablo®III May experience smoke or lighting effects may appear corrupted when using DirectX®9 API. Some applications may experience an intermittent or random runtime crash in atidxx64.dll. FIFA®17 may experience a black screen on launch when using Hybrid Graphics or AMD PowerXpress system configurations. Watch_Dogs®2 may experience an intermittent game crash after extended periods of play on some Radeon RX 300 series products. Paragon™ may experience flickering in profile or store preview pages after changing graphics settings when using Multi GPU. Forza Horizon 3 may experience a crash or application hang with the Blizzard Mountain DLC on some select Radeon GCN products. Known Issues A small amount of apps may still experience issues with Borderless Fullscreen mode and AMD FreeSync™ technology if other applications or game launchers are running on the primary screen in the background. Counter-Strike™: Global Offensive and World of Warcraft™ may experience flickering or performance issues the first time the game is launched on a system boot with AMD FreeSync™ technology enabled. Workarounds include exiting and restarting the application or task switching (alt+tab) in and out of the game to fix the issue. Radeon RX 400 series products may experience scaling issues for some applications when using the display scaling feature. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided™ may experience an application hang when running in Multi GPU with DirectX®12 and performing a task switch. Mouse cursor corruption may be intermittently experienced on Radeon RX 480. Counter-Strike™: Global Offensive has incorrect default slider values with Radeon Chill enabled. Users can modify these values to suit the experience they want. Known Issues for Radeon ReLive The XBOX™ DVR application may cause conflicts with Radeon ReLive, users are suggested to disable XBOX™ DVR if Radeon ReLive is experiencing issues. Radeon ReLive may fail to install on AMD APU Family products or experience a system hang or failure to record when using the recording feature on AMD APU Family products. Radeon ReLive may stop working after hot unplugging of a secondary display. Battlefield™1 may experience UI flickering and/or performance drops when recording gameplay with Radeon ReLive on graphics products with 4GB or less of VRAM. Radeon ReLive recordings or overlay may experience flicker when creating a single recording for many hours. Radeon ReLive may experience minor graphical corruption for the first few recorded frames when launching UWP applications. Radeon ReLive will not allow recording settings to change with Instant Replay enabled. A workaround is to disable Instant Replay and change settings then enable Instant Replay. Vulkan™ applications may experience a game hang when using Radeon ReLive to record. Radeon ReLive will not notify an end user of low disk space during recording. DayZ may experience an application crash when Radeon ReLive Instant Replay/Recording is active or the feature may not work as expected.
More fixes, nice. 🙂 (And a couple of known issues as usual.)

This should make some people happy I think 🙂

UVD bug fixed?

Going through the atiapfxx.exe -r -sys -s test.xml and comparing said test.xml against the 17.1.1 driver shows that not much has changed, Resident Evil 7 appears to be using a modified Crossfire flag. EDIT: CS:GO has been updated to v3 of "Chill" whatever that means. This:
2 True 0x1 1 1 0x2,0x2,0x4,0x10001,0x5000,0x10005,1024,0x10006,1024,0x10004,28,1,0x1000200a,0,0x4,0x30001,0x3000,0x10005,1024,0x10006,1024,0x10004,21,1,0x10002004,0,
To this:
3 True 0x1 1 1 60 300 0x2,0x2,0x4,0x10001,0x5000,0x10005,1024,0x10006,1024,0x10004,28,1,0x1000200a,0,0x4,0x30001,0x3000,0x10005,1024,0x10006,1024,0x10004,21,1,0x10002004,0,
These are the new settings: 60 300 (And version=3 instead of version=2, so a framerate range then?) EDIT: No Crossfire profile far as I can tell but there are profiles for Conan Exile and Wildlands as per the release notes supporting the "HighPerfGPUAffinity" feature for I think it was said to control use of dedicated GPU over integrated APU on systems with both. 🙂 Quake Champions has a profile as well for this as does Killing Floor: Incursion and the two separated Deus Ex Mankind Divided "games" being Rift-mode and a VR demo-type experience. Also... Heh. EDIT: One for "Gigantic" as well, a UWP game? HighPerfGPUAffinity (EDIT: A UE4 game, MOBA.) EDIT: Missed it but the Quake Champions profile was in 17.1.1 already. 🙂

"Changing memory clocks with Radeon WattMan with more than one display connected may cause memory clocks to intermittently become stuck at their minimum setting or switch between min and max ranges intermittently causing display flickering." maybe they have fixed the 150mhz bug? no notes for R9 3xx users :bang:

Yes lets blame a 3rd party app for not working with a new branch of drivers. GTFO.

Are you f*cking kidding me? :| This issue was present for years on GCN cards (bnet thread) and they didn't bother fixing it until a month after Blizzard released a D3D11 version of the game where it doesn't occur to begin with. I could laugh. But I can't.

And he also using 3 cards ffs. I wonder if 3-way SLI support is that much better.

Finally 🙂 I was having really bad time because of this issue.

Nicee!!

Zero support and improvements and fixes for non GCN 1.3+ cards. Trash driver. AMD does it again, they are gonna lose tons of customers. They will die soon. Google for disappointed AMD users since Crimson and since Relive drivers.

No. CGN 1.0 UVD bug still happens on my HD7870.

As intended

Do you own an MSI card? Last time I checked Afterburner 4.3.0 worked fine with my MSI RX 480 card. But if you are using a non MSI third party card with another brand third party app (MSI Afterburner in this case), then you are stretching your luck 🙂

YAY!! But to be honest, it happens with single monitor setups too. @warlord: you can just curl up under a rock and pass away quietly now Addendum: 1) I can confirm the report about AB still not working properly, either with official or unofficial means. However, Disable ULPS works properly, unlike before, which blew up in your faces. Also, you can successfully use restart64 from CRU to recover, or reboot. The bad settings no longer stick between restarts. (Waffling between full and 150Hz mem clocks like before) So there has been some progress. 2) Insistent flickering (caused by fluctuating memory clocks) has indeed gone away, as per "Fixed" 3) Per Profile Wattman overclocking works, so you can overclock with Wattman only when you need to. So, I can say it's usable, but not perfect. They either need to address their Wattman hardware profiles to work again with 3rd party apps, or the 3rd party apps will have to adapt to the new setup. I'm sure this will make Unwinder unhappy, because I get the feeling the AMD devs will be satisfied "as is".
