Damn i thought it will never be fixed. Connecting multiple monitors with high display bandwidths and differences in vertical intervals to a system may lead to high idle memory clock values being experienced by some users.

AMD PCI Bridge Device Extension looks new (amdpcibridgeextension.inf). Anyone know what this does?

Oh well, on my rx480 I still get vram stuck at max speed when both a 1080p monitor set to 60Hz and a 1366x768 60Hz TV are connected (hdmi both). Matching 8bpc for both and disabling freesync on the monitor doesn't make a difference.

Will test it when i get home and report back if this driver changed anything for me.

6800 XT - no AMD didn't fix this, yet I'm not surprised. BenQ XT2420T v1 (120Hz), and XL2420T v2 (144Hz). In my use case, both monitors must be at 120Hz for VRAM to downclock properly (7w idle, instead of 30w)

Working good here, the VRAM clock that sometimes jammed up in the 21.12.1 seems to work fine now. Only game I'm playing right now is Halo MCC, probably a placebo but the smoke looks better.

That game has a huge memory leak. At times there is less then 100mb of ram left and I just entered the match. I use intelligent standby list cleaner. Set it to my preference cleaning valves and turn it on. And never had those issues since. But that's no excuse! And I shouldn't need to use that app in the 1st place. The game is still buggy mess. And needs a lot of bug fixes. At least they fixed most of the bugs for modern Warfare on PC. Consoles can't even get the game to run. But I digress.

21.12.1 and 22.1.1 broke Cyberpunk 2077 on Polaris cards shadow and light problem gpu stuck at max clock still present (AMDRSServ.exe) i'm start to think AMD don't give a fuck about anything bellow RDNA2 at point they even test before release lol.

VRAM clock speed is now back to normal idle speeds with these drivers, bug fixed 😀 DDU used.

Another PCI filter driver variant. "AMD PCI Root Bus Lower Filter" 12/10/2021, 21.40.0.0002 C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\amdkmpfd.inf_amd64_c226630989cc7100 Might notice the network, USB and such momentarily toggle off or the display device blinking once or twice after the driver installation is done as that reinitializes the PCI devices on installing. AMD Defender or the crash software is still double installed too there's the newer 20.40 variant in the Fendr folder and the old 20.30 variant in the driver folder itself. EDIT: No there must be another one too the name is somewhat different as is the INF file.

I think the driver people are looking forward to is Adrenalin Edition 22.1.3.

LOL, Hilbert fell asleep at the wheel, on the main download page, he'd put Adrenalin 21.1.1....the driver is correct (22.1.1) but I guess Hilbert's still caught in the past.:p:D
