I thought that was only for the driver build itself and that it didn't apply to D3D/Mantle builds as well.

This may sound like a really dumb question but i just recently to AMD again. So I just install these set of drivers over the previous set? Or like NVIDIA, is it better to add/remove > clean sweeper > restart > install these?

try DDU instead of driversweeper. it does everything for you, no need to add/remove

no. but all have that problem whit amd cars i read all day for that and.... i thing the problem is the marketing
