I don't buy it. Where exactly will this "demand" come from. Theres far too much uncertainty in Europe atm with Brexit and the China/US trade ware goes on. Coupled with the decline in gpu farming for crypto this is where memory prices should be. I don't see it going up anytime soon.

I got a stock of 7 dual channel kits from 16 GB to 32 GB at different speeds from 3200 to 4600 still not touched from Corsair, G.Skill and Kingston. Turns out that RAM is a better investment than gold or land...or I have a serious RAM addiction problem...

when DDR5 going to be release soon ? DDR5 is schedule for 2020 release right ? (it will more likely 2021 for consumer start picking it up) seems they rather want to keep DDR4 price as by the time DDR5 release DDR4 value will going to down

Besides the lack of RAM I thought that was the only real reason prices could go up. RAM is abundant as of now.....how can it be going up in price!?! Should be illegal as it's scalping...... Cost and demand my arse..... "Demand the cost" as it should be stated!!
